Hi maddy!you should buy nokia n82 because i had one,but it was my biggest mistake to buy a 5800xm because it has no better feature than n82 except touchscreen. So i would recommend you to buy n82.Thanks.
One of the best phones I ever had. Just reading some of the comments makes me a little sad I had to sell it last year. It was my first smartphone and still remains an all-time great and one of the best all-around phones ever. One of the last of its kind before the touchscreen revolution. I think the N8 surpassed it and became its rightful spiritual successor, but Nokia should have given it MeeGo instead. Finding Xenon flash on a phone is a rare breed. Even Sony Ericsson stopped adding one and they were the ones you gave us the K800.

Its battery sound camera everything is excellent. 5800xm is 3mp camera its touch is not responsive as it is resistive not like n8. It also have a great pblm that u wont be able to operate in one hand. N82 has xenon flash bt 5800 hasnt. So i think u should buy n82.

Hi all, I am confused btw 5800 XM and n82. I know its discontinued, but I know many places where I can get it, so its not a problem..
So can any one please suggest which one is better? I compared the specifications of both and they are quite the same, so any suggestions plz???
One of the best phone i ever had wayback 2 years ago.
What makes it still "rules" for the many is probably its very rare >LOL< xenon flash, you can count with your fingers on how little there is out there for a mobile. Even the latest phones only comes still with a one or two LED flashes, others even have none. Now that N8 has that xenon too,at last a reason to buy nokia again.
Great phone! Nice sound, internet and the best of all the camera wt xenon flash! Its totally better than nokia c6-01 8mp camera.
Im lucky enough to find my 2nd N82, n82 users enjoy it!
where can i download n-gage 2.0 application?can u send a link here?? ^^ thanks
I have used over 13 phones my life ..never experiend any phone as good as this ..This is a classic ..all-in-one Ultimate as good as a Swiss knife...I do inter net calling, Internet surfing and above all ..the camera with xenon flash.i lost my N82 6 months ago and i was so sad ..then i decided to go for another N82 and this one is as good as the old one
-Its quiet slow interface
-Once the panel is spoilt it cost a bomb for a new one
-no flash light ...but you dont get all the good things in one basket :-)
I would highly recommend the phone as a Primary and back up phone
WE want button smartfones too return, stuff all this full touchscreen crud,,.The p900 had a touchscreen but had stylus, keypad 5 way scroll jog dial..Fones used to be fun but i dont like the new cruddy full touchscreen..
Right i have been obssessed with mobiles since 1998 until about 2009 when i actually stopped oobssessing,,i cannot believe its come to this.I just do not like the current crop of fones..
Bring back button fones either candybar or clamshell or scissor type like s/e w900i.Please.
Cult classic. This phone really had staying power. It had more features than the iPhone which came out much later. I simply want a bigger screen and a keypad and more memory and a faster processor now, but this device remains an all-time favorite of its era. One of the few phones that allow me to type by Braille.
