hi all guys.i ha*ked my n82 b4.that V.30.
Yesterday i Format it with *#7370# and all hacks gone.now i wanna upgrade my firmware to V.31 .any body can tell me exactly how to hack this version?
i have my Cer and Key.Tnx a lot

hey, do any of u kno if it's possible to get a more powerful battery to fit in an N82?

by the way, this phone has a feature set that i still consider superior in comparison to latest phones. i recommend it.

guys my name is nokia luver cuz i love nokia phones. i never hate any nokia phone! I own a black n82 and a white n79. I can never say n82 is better than n79 OR vice versa. every one has its pros and cons both ar e great phones. sorry about the crab posts i was mad by that time cuz i got involved in a sick argument about n82 vs n79. Any way my be i like my n79 but never said that im givin up on my precious n82! We may love different models but we all love nokia!

And I forgot to say this. The only Nokia phone that can beat N82 in quality of recorded videos is N86 8MP. N86, N82, N95, N95 8GB, their video recording is focused 2 metres from the subject which is better than all the other Nokia phones with 640x480@30fps video including N79 which is prefocused on infinity. When I say ''prefocused on infinity'', it means, as the subject gets nearer, the video gets blurred. N82 is the other way around. N79 is just flashy and shiny and eyecandy. Feature-wise, N79 and N82 seems pretty identical. But performance-wise, N82 is way ahead and better. N82 is in league with the N95 series. N79, with N85 and other midrange phones.

N82 takes even better pics than N86 8MP in pitch darkness and low light situations. N82 is not slow. Not lightning fast either. But it's a workhorse. I've got only 28MB left out of 130MB on my phone memory because of dozens of apps installed on it, plus 20 Ngage games and 18 Symbian games installed on the memory card, and a lot of patches applied and it's still satisfactorily fast. The only slowdown is on installing and uninstalling of apps. It takes a while to do that. You can run all built-in applications all at the same time and still have not less than 50MB of free RAM left. N82's actual camera, not just the flash, is superb than that of N79. N82 shares the same camera hardware with N95. It's got a bigger aperture and lens than N79/N85/N96 camera. Every hardware on N82 except for the screen is all identical to that of N95 8GB which is all superb than that of N79. N82 is a great phone, one of the greatest smartphones Nokia has ever made alongside N95 series. N79 is good but not great.

In case of camera u r saying in night mode its 'slightly' better than n79??? Do u know the meaning of 'slightly'? Its way better than n79 & even another xenon phone 6220c. Though in some of the daytime snaps n79 is looking better. But I don't think the snaps were properly focussed with n82. As in case of the 1st snap,its looking darker in case of n82 as because the sun is slightly visible there. So the sensor reduced its brightness. U may say that n79s focusing capability is faster. But never try to prove its better. Coz ur that attempt will be in vain. U may say they r almost same for daytime snaps.
Be happy with ur n79.lol...

I owned an N79 for 6 month and I can tell the differences because I have first hand experience with both.
I can easily tell you that the N82 is superior hands down. The N79 is a good and snappy phone, I'll give you that, but in terms of UI, camera and stability, the N82 is way better.
I made a camera comparition with them and the N82 is simply better, there's no way out.
Btw, starting a post by telling X phone sucks is just childish an non polite.
Finally, yes, the N86 has a better camera, sensor, etc. It's a no brainer. Next!...

N82 sucks. it is too slow, heavy, ugly, not even classic. Totally replaced by N79 it much lighter faster and looks better. Don`t believe lies about n82 camera being better than n79. N82 may take a slightly better -only night shots- but a dull night video!= N82 cannot capture videos at dark, don`t think about night mode!

What iam saying is that N82 had its time, but why n82 owners insist it is better than other phones, in other words guys just admit it N79 beats N82. No hard feelings!
