Is it possible to have a conference call with more than two participants with this or other symbian phone?
I have read a conference call service description on a website http://www.iphostname.net/ and I wonder if symbian phones are ok for the job.

y dada so kid, keep take n95 vs with n82, and always say n82 is bad phone. Dada u are so KID!
i want to buy a N82 but i was wondering if it is compatible with the new 16GB Sandisk Micro SDHC or does it just support 8gb? is there any other actual cellphone that keeps up the level of the N82? please i appreciate ur response. Thank you
Dada, 20 Oct 2008N95 can produce the best image quality in the 5MP category and not N82. Go to allaboutsymbian.... moreWhy dont you try comparing photos of n95 vs n82 other sites? Allaboutsymbian is the only exception. Other sites say the pictures are the same.
N82 a lot fatter than n85? Are you nuts? 17mm vs 16mm? N82 was considered slim (considering its features) when it came out a year ago. N85 just came out and isnt even a month old. If you must do a comparison, do it with phones that retain the same level of functionality and appear on the market at the same time. Compare n85 with n79, n95 8gb with n82, e66 with e71. etc.
The n85 may have better materials, but that is just the outer shell. The inner parts will wear out quicker due to its moving design. Furthermore, n85 has an AMOLED screen which has a much shorter lifespan than the normal screens used. By the way, N82 has better build materials than n96 and n95.
About the pricing, it doesnt make sense to pay 100 euros just so as to play games better. The extra money is for the sophisticated build design. That is the main difference between n85 and n79. They have the same functionality, but will employ differently to user experience. N85 will deliver better in gaming and music, but n79 handles better for everyday use. Its smaller, lighter and has a better keypad, isnt a fingerprint magnet like n85, and has a bigger naviwheel. Even if you were to buy an extra 8gb card and tv-out cable to match the n85 retail package, it wouldnt amount to 100 euros.
Those dual sliders are for those who want big screens or those who just want to show off. Dont start posting crap here if you dont like the phone. How come you never post in the 'dual slide phone' section?
N95 can produce the best image quality in the 5MP category and not N82. Go to allaboutsymbian.com and see the result of actual camera test they conducted. N82 is overhyped because of Xenon! I think the most important feature of N82 is the Xenon and not the 5MP camera! L0L! Best camera phones in the world are not even equipped with xenon - INNOV8 for 8MP; N95 for 5MP. And those camera phones that have it all including xenon and optical zoom turn out to be runners-up only - N82 and G810!
To the unknown person who said that slider phones are more bulky than bar phones, try to compare N82 and N85 side by side, N85 has larger screen encased in a dual slide body yet is smaller and a lot thinner than N82 bar phone with smaller screen! The extra benefits you get from extra media keys of dual slide phones make the whole difference in multimedia consumption compared to bar phones. It seems like N82 and N95 are almost identical right? And N85 and N79 are the exactly same phone in different form factors? Well, not quite, until you start to use them! Dual slide phones are more expensive than bar phones because you pay Nokia for the innovation they have patented on dual slide phones. And don't say dual slide phones are less durable than bar phones. Don't you know that N82 is build with low quality materials and hardware inside and out that is why it's priced relatively low compared to N95? Even the xenon didn't add up to its price. That's why I keep saying N82 is cheap because it is actually cheap! Nokia will only mass market a product that has low quality hardware because its production cost is low.
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2008slider phones especially dual slide phones like n95, n95 8gb, n96 and n85 are very versatile, ... moreSlider phones are less durable than candybars due to their moving parts. Eventually, theis moving parts will wear out quicker and problems will begin to develop, e.g blank screen, slider falling off etc. Furthermore, they will not be as slim as candybars because of their extra half, thus will always be slightly bulkier than candybars. Furthermore, due to their more sophisticated build, the sliders tend to be more expensive, yet they still retain the same functionality as the candybars. Eg n95 vs n82, n85 vs n79. The only advantage that sliders have over candybars is a bigger screen and room for extra buttons. Yes this may improve the user experience for games, but thats it. I dont think these differences should justify their huge price ranges.
I AM SICK OF N95 USERS BASHING N82 USERS! Its' wrong on both ends but when you read comments like dada's, you have to think that dada is really a spoilt baby. To say that the N95 is way better... ok so there is a 0.4" screen difference in size and louder external speakers. So what?! The N82 provides a more enjoyable listening session through earphones, the way most people listen to their music. You are bound to have to replace your flex cable at some point. I need not mention still photos. N82 is a clear winner in that dept. just like N95 is a clear winner in a loud speaker contest. That's about it. N82 is a superb alternative. And if you're old fashioned like me, you'll be more than satisfied at what a phone that really looks like a phone can do
i have my n82 for a month now i was wondering what is the best task manager that i can down load for my phone that works well with n82.
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2008The N82 is a great all round phone. The response is snappy, camera is great with 5mp carl zeis... moreMine have the ff:

N82 " The Dark Knight"!
No problem at All! Best phone I had.
I am using this handheld for a month and man...!!! This thing is the real deal! It has everything. And I haven't faced any problem or anything else. Thanks to Nokia.
slider phones especially dual slide phones like n95, n95 8gb, n96 and n85 are very versatile, multipurpose gadgets becos they can be in various modes with the convenience of extra keys. they bring web, music, gaming, media viewing into another level. bar phones are somewhat lousy becos they can only be operated in portrait mode conveniently. they gaming, music, web and media viewing experiences are limited only. so i prefer dual slide phones than bar phones. durability is also not a big issue on dual slide phones becos there are more reports of n82 having the speakers stop functioning and screen going off than n95 breaking the sliders into halves. my point is n82 and n79 can do what n95, n95 8gb and n85 do, but the dual slide phones deliver better user experience than bar phones becos of their versatility.
The N82 is a great all round phone. The response is snappy, camera is great with 5mp carl zeiss lens and xenon flash, gps is very good and so on. I have installed plenty of applications and never faced a slow down in performance. the applications are
nokia sports tracker
nokia step counter
dozens of themes
It is a simply great phone!!
