Since January 10, 2008 -
Proud owner of the Nokia N82. I was there close to the beginning before the black version even came out. When Xenon wasn't that important to folks yet. After solid word of mouth, specs, awards, and reviews, the N82 has been the #1 ranked phone on GSM by reviewers for most of 2008.
Little bored of Symbian though after thoroughly hacking the hell out of the iPhone and all the cool apps. Will move on to the Android platform next. But N82 is a keeper just on the camera and reception alone.
I have installed the following applications:
It is a breeze to work with these applications.
Friends, I have a shoe string budget, but I would love to buy one which has 3G and fast data access and a good 5MB camera, video. Give me the choice between N82, N958gb, N96 or would u advice me to wait for a couple of months and evaluate N85 before deciding on one
it's a very nice phone. It is just an alternate for n95.Probably superb but keypad not so comfortable..go for it..no problems in it..

pitea, 17 Sep 2008who know's what mean " made by nokia" , mine phone is made by nokia , and i know its not a fa... more"made by nokia" actually means made in hong kong, china. that's the licensed and official distributor of nokia devices in asia-pacific region. don't worry. as long as your n82 has a n82-1 model number, rm-313, and has all the 5mp camera, hsdpa, wifi, gps functions, etc., that's an original nokia n82. it doesn't matter much if it's a finland-made or nokia/china-made.
I have been using the N82 for 2 weeks now and so far it works flawlessly, the GPS works way beyond my expectation, its fast. The camera is sooooooo good, very good. Over-all, this is the best phone in the universe. PERIOD
who know's what mean " made by nokia" , mine phone is made by nokia , and i know its not a fake, having all those functions running , like the GPS
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970my phone is 100% scratchless because right after i bought it, i took the liberty to think about how to can protect it.
here is how i did it.
1. i did not peel of the celophane cover of the keypad and the battery cover at the back.
2. i bought a protective screen cover
3. i bought a crystal case and capdase fliptop leather case.
any mobile phone can get scratched, it depends on how you took care of it.
i need to buy new mobil and i dont know what is the best n78 or n82 pleas i need answer
The only way you can prevent N82 from having scratches is you don't take it out of the box and don't use it. My friend has a black N82. It's only 5 months old but the scratches make it look like 3 years old. Yes, N82 has almost the same functions of my N95 8GB but the actual user experience is better on N95 8GB. N82 feels cheap to hold in hand. It's like an N95 dressed in cheap looking plastic. No offense, but I hate it.
Bizo, 17 Sep 2008N82 is not made of poor materials!!! I mean that you can break n95 8gb in the same way as N82... more@Jamal,
Bizo is correct. Every phone has its own pros and cons, for sure data transfer in n95 8gb is slower because we know that nokia uses usb 2.0 unlike n82 you have your own options to transfer data in a card reader for faster connection...
But in the end its up on what you prefer.. Good luck
