Someone here needs further exploring of the N82's camera features.
Since the N82 has an autofocus camera lens, it would be inevitable for it to have a macro mode. The macro mode can be activated through the Scene Settings while in Camera Mode.
Any reply on my previous inquiry about on line software update? Is it possible to do it on line. I use Mac, i can't install the Nokia CD to sync.
Any means to update my v10 to v20?
To add, N82 has no macro, Samsung G800 can do macro photography.
my wife got the Samsung G800 and i have the N82. Comparing photos taken by these 5mp cameras. in available light, G800 got more details and better color contrast than N82. With flash and nigh shots, N82 is better than G800.
@the one who says k850 is put ahead at other sites.
Go on any other site and compare the photos yourself without reading the biased reviews. You will find n82's pics 10times more clearer with good colour reproduction. Also n82's flash is the most powerful than any other on the market. No one comes even closer. Check out yourself. Also try comparing samsung's and other brand's 5mpx fone's pics and u will get ur answer. You will find most of the pics on this site itself.
N82 and N95 8GB are Only Nokia i Like out of N-Series
From what I am reading, K850i is ranking last as far as 5 mega pix camera shots. Is this true? I have read GSM arena, etc. and they are putting N82, N95, and Samsung G800 ahead, Why? CNet actually puts K850 above. Is there any personal users of these phone i mentioned with there opinions?
THANKX!! GANU!! V MUCH .....
by the way what is your e-mail address i want to add you as friend in my msn...PLZ
To PT}E: The N82 can handle 8gb micro sdhc cards without any effect on the phone's speed. There has also been news that the N82 can handle 16gb micro sdhc cards and upwards once they become available. Although I shouldn't advertise, getting a genuine Sandisk 8gb micro sdhc for your N82 would be great.
I just ask Nokia-GLorieta for a software update, from V10 to V20, unfortunately they still don't have the V20. I tried to do it myself online, utilities - device manager - options - check for updates - define new profile - yes - ???????? i don't know what's next .....server, ID, password etc.
Any help please.... thanks in advance.

SE fanboys always ruins us geek nokia lovers...
the last tym, u showed and compared to us ur never ending looser k850 to our high end N82..
and here comes another SE low end high loser X1?? no guts it's has nothing to do with our n82.. so stop making your life stuck!!!
@brynn
yeah its true, there is something stopping it from getting brighter. i think nokia made it to be dim so that it would save battery life because of the use of xenon? its just my opinion though because xenon needs to be charge for it to function and i think it affects the standby time. or it is just a software bug and i hope that i will be fix by some firmware updates i hope so. over all the phone rocks! and i really like it cause it is not as heavy as my 14 year old brother's n81 8gb. and can i use a 8gb memory card?
because i was just wondering if it wouldnt hang or lag if i will use a larger capacity memory card.
im 16 years old from philippines
the nokia N82 has great features garanteed but if you ask me, i think its awful looking
