Here in the Philippines, all nokia celphones coming from China are fakes, a total ripped off.

I went to Nokia shop recently and tested the device. I tried the video recording at dark places and the result are pretty awesome!

Some how the xenon flash can be turned on throughout the whole video recording time.

Hmm... now im waiting for November to get this phone cause i gonna renew my contract by that time. Hope i can get a better price or maybe a black version by then. kekekeke

I still hate this phone and the design is awful too and the buttons are hard to press and about the features there's no change at all same with the rest Nokia N-series phone

Yup there is a N82 made in china...w/c is the one I have,,,It's awesome just like the N82 made in Finland...

I love my Nokia N82...I love the features but I have one problem...how do you get the startup sound of N-gage back,,,the very next day the startup sound disappeared...what did I do?! please help w/ this

I lost my N73 ME recently to a theif. It was a shock for me. I really liked my N73. Then as I came out of the shock I went to a Nokia store in delhi and started looking for the phones comparable to N73 in terms of features and price. I came across N82. I couldnt resist. I bought it although my budget was not allowing to buy it. But as I said I couldnt resist it. It is an awesome peice of invention. I have used number of Nokia phones till date. This one is by far best among all. I dont know about N95 8gb but looks like that N95 8Gb has an edge over this phone only in terms of display size.
This phone has inturn number of edges over N95. It has xenon flash, it has motion sensor, it is faster, it is smaller and ligter, it boby is not suseptable to wear and tear and above all it cheaper. AS far as its silver looks are concerned, im ok with it afterall I had got fed up with my N73 black colour.
I can give you some important information /tips on this phone as under:
1. You can download an application namely Sports Tracker. This app is a real miracle. If you are walking put this app on and after you have finished walking come to know how much distance you have covered, what was your speed, how much time you comsumed to cover the distance and how many steps did you take. All this is made possible thanks to this phones GPS reciever.
2. Download latest version of Nokia Maps from the nokia support site and see the difference. Older preloaded version of Nokia Maps is slow and featureless. This one is great.
3. You can Geotag your photagraps with the help of this phone. Geotagging means that if a picture is geotagged, it has got the information embedded in it about the accurate location of the picture clicked at.
To use this feature all you have to do is to download an app Location Tracker from Nokia site ann keep it running in the background while you click your pics. Geotagging goes automatic.
4.Download an app by namely Virtual radio and listen to thousands of radio stations without any distortion. You obviously need to have GPRS activated or you should be in some internet WiFi zone.

Is the best phone from the world (way better tha Nokia N95 ).It has a better camera than N95,better GPS,better SOUND,better camera ( N82=1050 mAh and N95=950 mAh => N82 winner )
.. and is more fast than N95 !!!

Im so excited with the nokia n82 black that I kept calling almost all nokia store here in Manila for updates but someone from Nokia Robinsons Ermita told me the bad news (hope its not true)that the black version will NOT be released in the Philippines. This is the number of the nokia store-- 526-6703

hi im adrian and im only 16, i got this phone and it rocks!!!!!!!!!


the coolest phone ever!!!!!! the speaker is not that soft! its audible and the sound quality is great!

so far no regrets for this phone and did you know that you can store 1600+ images even if the memory card is 1.6 G and the video is still unlimited!


well,i hope you guys wont by it so that it wont be a common phone!

Hy guyz,

I really want to own an n82 but its just too damn expensive. I think the price will drop after n78 gets into the market later in may, but the n78 is supposed to be quoted at 350 euros while the n82 costs less than that now.....

Im really confused!!!

Obviously the n78 cant be more expensive than the n82, so will the price of the n78 be lowered or will the price of the n82 be increased?

I really want to own one of these phones by july, can someone tell me what the price would be buy then.....i would really appreciate it

Hi guys i have a qustion that can i change my n82 panel whit black one & if i do this there isn`t any problem? AND i have this phone for a mounth and it`s sound does not really good as n958gb & the sound is very low but in high qulity

I find auto-rotate more effective than k850i but still not as good as i-phone looks on adverts..Future updates wil make it more responsive plus gesture control is in its infancy....In k850i under service menu by punching in secret number you can see auto-rotate in action as you turn k850i the vertical horizontal etc values juder up and down.
I am sure their is an app called "full screen caller id "which displays pics full screen on call reciept and works well but its so long ago since i saw it but its out their,,On that note still no stopwatch/timer,, animated or full screen wallpapers for n82 but next series of symbian will include animated wallpapers.

On the whole i am enjoying this fone its really a shrunk n958gb but their is so much to explore,, nearly finished setting up fone with all my apps in position i like and shortcuts set to my liking.I took a 5 minute vid of my guinea pig at full settings and it took up 93 MB then played it back on my 21 inch standard def tele and it was just so good its crystal clear and you could not want anymore from a device this tiny,,but dont expect close ups

Hi, I just got this phone 1 week ago. I have N95 8GB too. N82 just g8. I had 4Gb micro SDHC on it. Al most fill in 3+Gb. No problem with it. I love the video very much. Nice recording(I just record many to fill my memory). My unit macro mode cannot less than ard 20cm distance. It cant focus well. I not sure this is same as other. I love N95 8Gb loud speaker. N82 loose out on tis. I no like it design and sound. It both speaker cover in your pocket. U hardly hear the sound and sound produced just like nokia low end phone. I not sure why nokia make N82 speaker so bad. My friend 5610 has clearer speaker and play louder sound. I love N95 very much even not as crisp as my SE K800i but louder.
Here some advice:
If u like hear music a lot, go for SE960i. I have an Ipod so I found nokia music need upgrade since market china MP3 already produce better sound than tis expensive gadget. I using creative aurvana in ear headset.
For camera or video capture, u will love it like me. Only diff is flash. My N95 only can take close picture with insufficient light condition and I don't like the back view, plenty of noise. N82 just better. I don't mind the speed as SE fans argued. If u like camera performance, get a camera.
Compare display of N95 and N82, u will find N95 look much better. I think N82 less vivid(or may be the size).
Question:
1)How well u guys rotate sensor work? I found mine sometimes no work but if u shake harder or rotate more times then it will work. Is this consider defective?
2)Any software for large photo ID caller to install on S60?

I just got my N82 and I have a problem w/ the startup sound when I Launch Engage It doesn't have the startup sound...what have I done? please help me w/ this...tnx

Another thing to mention is my n82 is version 10 and ive seen on other sites that version 11 available...I went to nokia updater just as usual but it said their is NO support for the n82 yet ???

Its usually sim free handsets that get an update first then the branded models get theirs at a later date and because ive gone sim free this time i thought i could update now so will wait to see an official announcement
