@Ie$H
Look is subjective, what is cheap to may not be same to others. U can check it on a shop and decide Ur self.
For me the black one is very posh than the silver one.

This phone is simply rocks...camera is outstanding..music comparable to walkman when u use an in-ear headphones like philips, sony or a stereo bluetooth headset which supports 3.5mm jack..Music is better than n73, n95 and walkman series 2. Keypad is disappointing, but its ok for me..GPS, internet, user interface perfect...GSM arena always highlighting the sony ericsson phones in the music department..i dont know y? Nokia music quality is good..bass and treble are in equal level..yes u can increase the bass effect in the 8band equalizer..

Hi skycs,
it is for 240 x 320 phones, so N82 should be able to support it.
144 games ( 240 x 320 )

Thanks to Jasontan & 0YAd
well, i always like to capture video during karaoke session with friends.
Karaoke room usually are dark. I also like to capture video during bday cerebration.
while people singing bday song surrounding the bday cakes with only candle lights...etc.
As advertise this phone is best for capturing great moments like this rite?
I thought it is meant for both Photos and Videos.
I am using N73 ME currently and i got only some blueish crap when capturing video at dark places like i just said.
And im not gonna bring my Camcorder with me all the time.
so just wish to have a "have it all" phone.
I guess there is no phone out there can capture both photos and videos perfectly at these dark places yet rite?
hahaa...
Thanks anyway.

No doubt this is one of the best phones out there feature wise. A lot the "smartphones" or phones with all the features are slower to navigate and oftentimes freezes drives nuts! but not this one, its because of its dynamic memory so I love them for that. I've this phone(N82) for almost a month now and I just wish that its got a body of an E51 and speakers of 6300! It gets heavier and hevier everyday! oh well I guess we cant have it all.

Hope casings are swappable even if nokia service centre has to doit,,,cannot say about sounds yet thru headfone cause dont get it til tomorrow but i use s/e hpm80 headfone top part and have done since bought w900i..The headset in my n95 is not that good as it does not plug in the ear and seal in bass...I expect the n82 will ship with the n958gb type earfones which are extremmly clear in teble and midrange but bass is abit thin..I do think s/e in ear type earfones are great but my p990i shipped with the poor nokia type just general earfones and think s/e reserve the earbud type for walkman fones,,that said the performence of the n958gb is superb but turning on the surround or 3d effect weakens the sound and is not that effective...If you want a niteclub sound the samsung g600 is spot on in the concert hall or stage settings in equiliser mode but each to their own,,i bought expensive hi-fi for years but the chap selling it to me had no interest in treble becaise he listened to trombome a n cello music yet i was a bass freak so each to their own,,,the worst sound ive heard fron a mobile fone is moto the earfones are huge and all you get is bass boost and suuround levels from 1-7,terrible sound

I am planning to get N82 but GSMARNA said that the sound quality via headphone is not so good, can you guys, the owners of N82, tell me wtherte it is true, that the sound is not so loud/good via headphone? I am using n76 at the moment, and the sound is quite good, though not as good as N81. GSMARENA says that N(% has better headphone sound, but I hate the sliding design of N95. I want N82 but I also want to listen to music in good quality via headphone, please, enlighten me.Thanks in advance.

hi...I wonder if there´s a way to replace the body of the n82...
I mean, I dropped mine twice already in only 1 week...It is a fantastic phone, no regrets at all, but there´s some minor scratches on mine =(..Its a very easy to drop cell because its a little, just a little heavy compared to my other phones..its easy to slip thru your hand if you´re handling it with only one hand..I know I have to pay attention, but sometimes you know..
So, does anyone hear about a possibility to switch the body, the front or any side of the n82? the side part is more "scratchable" than the front I guess....
nokia people, please?

hi and good day! i hope you can help me about this...
i am really looking forward to this phone because of its great features that suits my needs. i was about to buy one but hearing and seeing from the net that there will be a black version to be released on april 2, 2008 made me think twice to wait for a while.
does it mean that they (nokia) are gonna ship the n82 black edition worldwide or just in the u.s. first?
i am from the southeast and wants to reassure about this issue, and i also hope that there's no addtl tag price for that classy handset cover..
by the way a week from now will be april and im so excited to see and have it on my palms.
i pray its worth the wait or else.. lol!

N82's numeric keypads rocks when you're used to it since it's nicely elevated. The problem is adapting with the small surfaces, which shouldn't be any problem at all. Another con is just mispressing the C key with the multimedia key. But that doesn't matter, since when you exit the multimedia menu, you can go right back and finish your message.
D-Pad is also great, easy to press and navigate with. At first, it's a bit hard to tell between the Menu key and the left soft key, but again... Adaptation won't be that hard. Camera key is not as convenient as N73's bulging up double shutter camera key, but the also-double-shutter camera key of N82 is not that bad anyways.
The speed of this phone is amazing, with 128MB RAM, and 2GB memory card included (still upgradeable!). That's very nice, since you won't be bothered by 'Memory Full' pop-up warnings. I have never ever experienced any problems about this with my N82. The gap between the keypad presses and the reaction shown in the screen is also unnoticeable.
Battery life of this phone is mediocre compared to other high-end phones. But hey, considering all this much feature provided, you won't mind carrying a charger to work every 3-4 days once. It runs 4 days without 3G network and proportional usage, and 3 days with 3G network and again proportional usage.
The 2.4 inches TFT 16.7M colors screen is amazing. You can still see everything clearly under direct sunlight. Though N95 8GB's 2.8 inches screen brings jealousy to all.
Speakers are below anybody's expectation if you've seen N95's speakers, it's still stereo but not as loud. But then again, the earphones provided are astounding. And the earpiece and mouthpiece works just fine.
The motion sensor with auto rotate feature is amazing, though a little animation like the one available in iPhone would be appreciated as a feast for the eyes. But seeing the phone's metallic (not coke can-ish) front appearance is eye candy enough.
Anyways, the camera is (as usual) flawless. Xenon works out great, but i personally prefer to take shots without flash. The zoom is also amazing, with full optical and digital zoom (20x), you can still read letters thanks to the amazing autofocus features. Unlike K850i which blurs instantly after the zoom.
I'm just a random clicker when it comes to photography, and I found out something new about the camera's amazing auto focus. What you need to make sure, is that when you half-press the double shutter camera button, the lines in your screen turns green, not red. That means your auto focus is ready, and didn't fail. With that in mind, now I can maximize the usage of my camera!
I read someone's comment below that said about the screen back lighting turning off after 1 minute. No worries, it's customizable! Just go to the setting menu.

This phone feature wise is something special. Although I have the nagging question of why Samsung could implement optical zoom on their G810 but this phone could not. Afterall Nokia managed it in the N93. My ideal phone would have been N82 features built on HTC S730 architecture. The design of the HTC is great and allows for versatile texting BUT the multimedia features are not on a par with this phone.
It is looking more and more like I will have to buy two phones. An N82 black edition and an HTC S730 or even the intriguing i-mate Ultimate 9502.
I must tell you the allure of a top multimedia device that has good texting facilities is mouth watering. Oh... Twin keyboard but non identical twins because HTC S730 houses both a T9 keypad and a slick slide out QWERTY. Couple this to N series features; Nokia would have a top selling device.
