to all concerned about music when it comes to there mobile.. why not buy something like the nokia e51 same features as the n82, except camera and meda. . and then buy a nice ipod... will probably be cheaper and better too!!

Yes, i went rp today, and wow, i tested the real n82 today. the keypad is so nice, really... believe me. can't wait to buy it, just the price is still somewhat high. I guess i'll wait few more months.

do you know of a way how i can update this phone to support chinese character input?

just the reviews on the sound/audio quality is putting me off buying this phone. top qulity music player is essential factor for me.

any comments from n82 users plz?

also what does firmware updates do? do they improve things like sound quality?

finally got it to work thnx fathervince, its so freakin cool i wish there will be san miguel beer label lol, anyways for those n82 owners that got freeze hang situations my advice is to make a hard reset(factory default) it will make ur phone hang free and freeze free and will be faster than ever just remember to back up any files on ur pnone,contacts on the simcard stays so nothing to worry there, all settings made by user will be gone and will go back to default as fathervince said b4 its like having a fresh phone from the store lol..

Restart the whole process. Uninstall first the pyPiwo then the python for S60 at the application manager. Now install the python 1.4.1 then the pyPiwo both at your phone memory. Put the background1 and label1 jpeg file at the images folder of your microSD card. Go to applications then open pyPiwo, press the left softkey, press background, press image background then locate the background1 file at your microSD card. Done! Enjoy drinking heineken...

hi, This is the coolest camphone launched by nokia. Picture quality is best. But the major minus point is loudspeaker, the sound is too much low.

N82 is better than n95 8gb.
N95 8gb is for nerds...
The best is n82
second is N95
third is k850
the last is N95 8gb..,..

i know u can't afford N82 this phone is not mean't for low income people go buy some sagem or alcatel or benq they have lots low cost handsets which u can afford.

As for the cameraphone lovers, the decision is as simple as that - if you want the best camera on a phone and you're willing to pay for it, Nokia N82 is the way to go.

how can i use the beer thing? i already installed the python on my memcard but the the other software in freak.com is corrupt wen ever i install it phone say file is corrupt plis HELP ME I WANT THIS APPLICATION!!

Gsmarena comparison of cameras between K850, N95 8GB, LG Viewty, and Samsung G600. Gsmarena said that score of LG Viewty and N95 8GB are swapped which means that LG Viewty is got more points or better quality camera compare to N95 8GB, is this true guys? I am asking this because I know N82 and N95 8GB got almost the same picture quality except if you're using the camera in the dark because I know N82 got the BEST quality picture when it comes to picture taking in the dark or got lesser light. So for Filinos out here, hope you can help me clarify this? But even if it's true, I still buy this product though, it's my dream phone really for now...heheh. I'll be buying it next week hopefully in Cebu. Hope I could still avail the promo sale price. So wish me luck guys!

This phone isnt perfect n not for everybody. No phone is. I wish for a bigger n brighter screen, more comfortable d-pad, n twice more battery capacity. Everything else it does, it does so well. It was just 9 months ago, peeps were paying $800 for an N95-1. Still an inferior product over this one.

So versatile. This phone changed my lifestyle or adjusted to it that im rarely ever bored it. Surf the net heavily. Listen to FM radio alot. DL Youtube vids for an hr. Play one session Tetris everyday. Install themes, tones, n animated pix. Take pix or records vids of the kids. Recently merged short clips like a moviemaker. There isnt a long list other phones can do better. Shame peeps cant get over a few superficial reasons to experience all this. They'd rather fish for compliments from others n seek approval to fulfill insecurities than see the real beauty of this phone only the user can see.
