Please non-Nokia N82 users go away! You don't know what you're saying. K850 is a good phone but ita nowhere near the N82's features and the K850's design is horrible. And quality? SE phones die that's a fact.

Hey all, anyone completed the update of N82 to v11 I tried looking with with software updater and it says v10 and I have the latest version. maybe they have taken it down from the nokia site.

How is that glossy shiny front?
is it nice ,or does it really takes down the whole design of the phone?
I really like the specs ,but iam not sure about the front..
please ,tell me ,does it look good in real ,or does it really dissapoint?

Hey man, b realistic. its just like comparing a father(n82) with his son(k850). so come on man, be more realistic with ur comparisons next time.

The N82 offer you everything you expect. Its camera is top-notch, upgrading what the N95 offered with a real, powerful Xenon flash with excellent focus assistance.

The rest of the multimedia (music, videos) is typical for the Symbian 9.2 in the N-series phones and is very good.

Overall the N82 offers a lot, in pocket-friendly dimensions. In addition, it is a smartphone, which gives additional advantages over the rival 5-megapixel models, so i highly recommend it.

Hi, how about that shiny glossy front ,does it looks nice in real ,or is it just nothing?
If you had to choose between the SE K850i ,and this phone ,which would you choose ,and why?.
I would really like to know ur opinions ,please answer as soon as possible.

fathervince i made my phone to factory default and i havnt loss the 2 demo games but i did loose the hotsites and asia maps but i careless cos it doesnt prove to be usefull for me, one thing ive notice tho that my phone sumwat became faster and nvr freezes anymore, unlike wen i first got it from store it froze 3 times in a row, now its all good, i just put back all my other application and all run good, i tried to get settings again ( altho i already got it from sett wizard, and working fine) just to try if phone can recive it, still no luck, but site told me that if i dont get settings maybe of network congestion, anyway all function works 100% (calls, txt. internet dunno about mms tho i havnt tried it yet, im on prepaid so maybe that explains why i my mms dont send i often got check op lol) anyway ty and more power

btw i download the beer thing but it says data corrupt, i got the python installed.

Hi !!

I would like to add this into my toy collection but my only concern is how long the battery can it last since is a high pixel smartphone..any comments will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance~ ciaoz!

Isnt it annyoing ,that the lens cover is manual? ,and ,when u open it ,does it automatic starts the camera?

wer do i find content copier? It's one of the applications of Nokia PC Suite. How about your contacts? do u save it at your microSD card?

i havent put anything on the phone memory, i just want to restore factory setting, i just want all the settings to be the default setting and delete all those setting that i have put in. all my data is in stick so i guess np if i restore original settings?

If you'll do a hard reset i'm sure you'll back-up your phone using Nokia content copier. During back-up uncheck the settings so you won't retrieve those settings again.

Yes karl! it's like purchasing a new phone. But, those games installed by Nokia will all be wipe out, like Snakes, Fifa07 Demo and Asphalt3 cause those are installed by Nokia at the phone memory. But of course you can download it at the web if you like.

I'm sorry bro, but i always used the setting wizard application in setting those features. I'm not sure if resetting the factory settings will delete those settings downloaded at nokia website. Maybe a hard reset will do by pressing *#7370#. But be careful this will format your phone.

Regarding sending of MMS, could be just a network traffic cause mine is flawless.

I think what you have tested are dummy phones. N82's keypad are soft to press.
