This is the manual method of putting album art on your music file:
1. Place the album art pic at your gallery.
2. Go to music player, highlight the music file, press options, scroll down to album art, press select, press options, select change, select the album art at your gallery that you've placed a while ago, now your album art is changed.

Note: don't delete the album art file at your gallery cause it will be deleted also at your music file. Actually this is one of N82's bug. Unlike on my previous N73ME, once the album art is attached to the music file then you can freely delete it at the gallery.

Good Luck!

Hi kabayans,

I've been to more than 3 mobile phones here in Metro Manila, but to my disappointment, all n82 test unit i tried has problem with the keyboard. They all can't be pressed, no matter how hard i press.
Will i have the same problem if ever i will buy one?
Another is all these phones do not have chinese character input. Is there a way to update this phone to support this feature?

Thanks in advance.

Rakesh: I dnt know bout n82 playing .wmv files but if it can play then may be u have to edit it for playing.. like the bit rate and stuff.. so try converting it into smaller file or just convert it into mp4....

No cameraphone can ever truly replace a stand alone cam, esp on vacation. My digicam is faster per shot, has stronger Xenon flash, better macro, zoom, n can take 300+ pix in one charge. But a cam from my N82 is good enough alternative in most situations n viable upgrade over point n shoot cams from 3-4 yrs ago. Its versality buys me that peace of mind.

I keep believing though that the N95-8gb is the best phone of its class (but i can't afford it)...
...........................
@Adam, from Greece

trust me its not the best. been there done that lolz but frankly i like my N82 better than my previous N95-8gb. as for the N81 i think the plasticky material looks dirt cheap more than the material of the N82 and its camera leaves nothing to be desired.

as for your issues with the display i owned an n95-8gb for 53 days and i wasn't satisfied at all with the 2.8" display. most of the themes i installed looked washed out and appeared grainy and colors are not as crisp and as vibrant as in the N82. i don't know about you guys but frankly i really like the display of the N82 better than the N95 8gb. Sure, the N95 8gb wins in the brightness department but that's about it. ;)

@mehdi

the pencil key function was placed at the * key. Don't worry about it, you still have those functions at a single click.

@Adam

We have the same first impression with N82's display cause i also have an N73ME and that disappoint me at first. But did you take a deeper look at N82's display? Here's how: take a picture with a colorful subject using your N82 then send it to N73 using bluetooth. Now look at the picture on both phones at the gallery and tell me which phones display is sharper, and gives you the right color... N82, right? the only problem with N82's display is its brightness. Let's just hope that Nokia will correct that in their future firmware upgrades. Good luck!

I was expecting it for more than 2 months. When it finally arrived, i found where to sell my old phone (N73 ME), and went to get it. It sure has all the expected tons of features + gps/wifi + great quality lens,

BUT...

(here's my own "but") i found out N82 isn't exactly as it seemed. Its hard plastic makes it look quite "cheap" and casually made, not to mention that it made me feel like it's more cumbersome than it really is.
The great disappointment of all though concerned its display. The N82 display, despite its 16.7 million colors, doesn't deserve its place among the Nseries phones. Of course, it's a lot better than any $100-cellphone display, but it is quite unsatisfactory if you compare it to any of the n95, n81, even n73 displays. I indeed saw it live next to both the versions of n95, and both the versions of n81 (so I had the chance to confirm my above points of view). I was checking the phone, its menus, its whole deal for about 15 minutes, till i got irreversibly disappointed (for an Nseries phone). It's important for all of you not to stick with the internet's n82 photos - go see it live somewhere. Then you'll get my point.

I was expecting it for 2 months. I finally didn't buy it. I'd rather stick with my n73ME, which has better display and quite good camera and storage. I keep believing though that the N95-8gb is the best phone of its class (but i can't afford it)...

The N82 is indeed a suitable replacement for your digital camera.

If I had to ditch my phone or my camera I would ditch the camera. I mean, it doesn't do much. I don't know anyone that carries a digital camera around as an EDC. I always carry my wallet, knife, and phone wherever I go, and those three items have become my Every Day Carry for the past 3 years. I don't have room for one more device, and I think most people fall into the same category. You make a valid point, but the fact is this phone can replace a digital camera for MOST people.

ok folks here is the unbiased truth about this phone (n82).....

i have owned it for 2 months and yes, it is the best mobile on the market today, no doubt. no other handset even comes close to it in terms of functionality, camera, etc.
and if you dont like to carry a digital camera, mp3 player, sat nav on you as seperate devices this is the mobile for you.

BUT.......(and here's my point)

although it has the best camera and functions etc. i believe it is better to carry a seperate stand alone digital camera and just get a simpler, more reliable, faster phone cos even this great camera cant compare to a stand alone digital camera

plz dont start slating me now, i just gave my opinion
