dude i bought n96 and n97 and i sold them after using these cellphones are too bad too slow
and i bought n85 and that cell was awesome then i bought n86 8megapixle n believe me this cellphone is awesome camera is awesome features are awesome complete cellphone nokia rocks

Hi.i want ask question about nokia n86.why this camera not like 8mp?this camera same 3.2 megapixel .when night i take the picture is blur and not clear.when use zoom picture no good quality.is very shit.nokia plz settle this problem.

I have owned N95 8GB, N82, N85 and have bought N86 8mp five days ago, and must say that this is the best phone I have ever owned if not the best I have ever held in my hand! Pictures are amazing, I dont need a digital camera at all. Its true that N82 has the advantage over N86 when I want to freeze the picture, I took images of a cooling fan at full speed and with xenon flash it looked like fan was off. But thats the only thing that is better and N86 has very strong dual LED flash which can illuminate the object almost as strong as xenon. Colors are so vivid and the noise level seems pretty low. But what really impressed me is its video recording quality. I just watched some of my old videos taken with N95 8GB and N82, I was sitting in the tram making videos of traffic through the window while riding in the tram, and yesterday I did the same thing with N86. I watched the videos on the computer and the difference is incredibly huge. While all these phones have the same VGA resolution and framerate of 30 fps, video clips produced by N86 look like full HD when compared to N95 8GB and N82! The clip I recorded is so smooth and full of detail, there is no trace of those ugly blue stripes and colors are incredible, tried also zooming in while capturing video and it worked great, almost without any loss of quality. Phone is made of high quality plastic and metal and its solid as a rock. Anyone, if in doubt or considering buying this phone, I can guarantee that youll never regret it and will be amazed by its capabilities, construction and performance! Thumbs up for Nokia!

before i always post in n82 forum but now i have my n86 i'm proud to say its really a great phone, not just because of it awesome camera but other great stuff that comes along with it. you'll never regret buying one yourself.

> In reply to fab @ 2009-08-15 04:10 from P@cs - click to readdude having n86 i still have my n82 with me. hands down n82 is great because of its xenon when taking pics in low light coz it illuminates more light. but try looking at the result in your pc the result is the pic has lot of noise in it compared to n86 pic eventhough it just led flash. i never stop comparing both phones' camera, n82 is great coz it has xenon but still n86 is better imo. try taking a photo of a fan's rotating blades with n82 but with the flash turned off, you'll see the result that it didn't freeze the rotating blades.

And one more thing. N86 cannot freeze shot while N82 easily can. You cannot capture images in stationary of a fast moving object. All of them will always appear as if they were moving on the picture. It is the Xenon flash that lets you freeze a shot so it's impossible to do that with a Xenon-less N86.

N96 has the best speakers among all the Nseries. But 5800 has the loudest speakers among all Nokia phones. N91 has the loudest sound volume via 3.5mm jack. It also has the best sound quality among all Nokia phones. N82 is the best camera phone when it comes to low-light imaging. N86 is a great camera phone but it only comes second when it comes to lowlight photography. No matter what 3rd gen dual LED flash it has and however improved its optics is, it still can't beat N82's Xenon flash when it comes to lowlight imaging.
