N86 has been overshadowed by N97 since it was announced. But it seems now that N86 has turned out to be the better device than N97. I've been reading positive reviews of N86 everyday.

all i can say is that its not that much better than n95 in terms of pic quality and video so in other words if i payed doubled the price of an older phone n95 i expect a far more superior camera that would stun me, stick with the best phone in the world n95, new nokias coming after n95 are junk

Anyways, I totally agree with you. It seems that all the current Nseries phones, have basically the same design (with a few tweaks here and there). It is a tad bit boring. Where's the new form? before the Nseries differs and varies a lot. Right now, I guess the N97 is a bit different because of the keyboard, but if your tuck the keyboard, it looks like any Nseries phone.
Launching an 8MP phone, they shouldve put better design for the body, something that will differentiate it and not just a refurbished N85.
Not that I don't like Nokia, I love Nokia. I just want to see more innovations.

Nokia had high hopes with the N86 but it hasn"t match it potential,an they should have designed a total different mobile instead of going on the cheaper idea of using the N85 body,the N86 an N97 have both full of bugs,i had THREE N86 in 5 Days as the centre control button kept freezing an unable to search for features,an i did not want to keep a mobile that was not worth it true value

does nokia n86 have a eyelet for a lanyard? please reply. i have watched countless videos on youtube on n86, read reviews, googled, 360degree turns.. everything.. still no answer!

> In reply to E @ 2009-07-07 13:40 from ibcL - click to readas u know nokia has symbian software, that's mean all software from yr old phone i mean 'n' series phones, even 'e' series phone u can fix to your old themes, software and all staff (programs) works on all n series symbian phones...ok regarding n82,n85,n96,n97,n86,all these phones u can put up to 16 gb, haven't tried 32gb cards, and if it isn't included in the box u can buy cheeper on line. it's good to have one in my n 82 16 gb card, for this moment don't thinking change this phone, to any because with this phone i can play all media files (i mean video), but u cannot play with n 85, not sure about n 86,and 'e' series phones doesn't stream 516x472 mp4 files video only 320x240 mp4 files, so n 82 is the best for media has good battery life, 2or3 days i can play 5 hours of video, on e71 8hours, o yes site for themes and other software is: mobile 24, u can find for yr nokia every thing, good look. arun_fileo

my nokia n86 8mp has some problems please someone help me to solve it. 1 it network coverage will cut rapidly when i restart it it become normal for some time.
2 when i sent a message it almost take time up 10 to 30, sometimes it fail to sent. please help me.
