when i go on a downloading spree, a full battery barely lasts me 2 hours......any explanations?? Any help would be highly appreciated.

- ngage. It would be preferred to be installed a cfw with preinstalled h#*k. So you can reinstall ngage and cr@cked games. Just look out in any symbian forum.
-firmware. Latest fw is 30.0.009
-battery. It is good. With web browsing usage it will be draind in one and a half day.
-camera failure. Just reflash you device. If failure continues, then replace camera unit or buy a new one.

Does anyone know that this phone supports "SKYPE" or not? Because I've checked Skype Website and didn't get this model N86 8MP in the Supported Symbian Phones List??? Has anybody used SKYPE on this Phone???? Please anyone tell me bcz I wanna buy this phone.........Thanks

i don't know what's wrong with my internet connection via WIFI.. everytime i will connect it.. sytem error is in the screen and i need to turn it off by removing the battery.. pls help me to fix this fuck'n wifi connection..

Hi, In my opinion:
Web browser is normal. Just remember N86 has 7.1 web browser and actual symbian Anna (and Belle) packs the new 7.3 I prefer to install Opera Mini. It is fine to me. About GPS signal is good, not faster as nokia e71 (loads about 5 seconds average) but is enough. About media, audio codecs are terrific almost like n8 (i have it and i can compare). About video it plays all material under 640*480 pixeles. Display has the same n8's quality. Finally camera photo is superb, maybe need quite sharp at final details, but is awesome. Video reocording, i record a sample, then i copyed it to my n8, then it was played trough HDMI: quality is great very clear, sharp, equalized colors, 10/10 where vga allows the maximun quality. If you play from RCS cable you lose quality fron hdmi playing. Thats all mate.

My N86 with all software supports injected and build by me for it, it supports everything smoothly,it is fast in process and well customizable, camera is superb in Image quality,clearity,Night capturing,face detection auto focus with over 3000pixels also i am able to capture a 360 degree widest image capture and Video Mode with 30fps 5000kbps stereo sound recording supports..
N-gage also fully supports and working well with games, 3G sim works so fast with it..You tube video never stop with it but 3G is costly, A-GPS respond is OK,Design looks premium,Tv out makes it more larger display, and more external softwares make it a fully powerful Device for any work...so it is good to be with N86..

i was thinking to buy this phone. I curious about the some points are processing speed in browesing. App support , gps work or not,flash lite,document editing,media player supports, HD formats,multi tasking,and video chate.can all this feature nokia n86 perfome easily...please solve my problem.

Hi mates. It is next to be released a new cfw by Strategist which will includes symbian anna icons, cpu improvements, probably 7.3 web browser (extracted from recently s60 3.2 firmware date) and other stuffs. Just wait it. Respects for Strategist who is making this new cfw.

Happy with the phone as still working fine and no issue. But a litte disappointment as it does not support big sized .pdf files.
