I've been using Symbian for years and start developing some amateur apps using python before I went to Samsung "because Symbian is so restricted" and start developing some TouchWiz Java apps,Believe me Nothing compared to N9 and MeeGo is a legend which will make Nokia regret for leaving it.

Had this fon +1 year, very happy with ease-of-use, day-to-day talking, email, twits, and nav. I wish Meego would further develop, can't see using another fon.

How can I learn programming with N9?

and believe me this small computer will worth a much better appreciation.
even though the hardware is out dated, the software and the design are over the ages.
we will rise again
to be honest, without giving your time to it it will never help you for being a soft ware developer. but it worts holding it on your hand it is inoovative and inspirative.

i am an N9 user about more than one year, a white one. and i have recently seen a friend that holding lumia 800 (looks like exactly the N9) i have hold it, tried it and i hated it. because meego is nothing like others, it matches human nature with its smart SWIPE UI.
ALL IT TAKES IS A SWIPE...
i also have an ios and an android divece as well and while i am using them i keep naturally trying to swipe, but no seccess, becasue human nature adopts swiping stronger than pressing, pussing or whatever, so i feel to use meego is much easier to use.
i suggest you to realize what u r holding..

unfortunately you wont find most of widely used apps from other platforms, only a wonderfully made whatsaap client called "openwhatsapp" and there are natively designed skype and google video call support, face book and twitter and some litte more.
but this beauty is like your fist car and not only any car think that it were a jaguar that u never want a scratch on it.
i love holding it and using it buttonless cannot give up using it.
as a conclusion if you are and depended on ur apps like Line, Wechat, viber, tango or huge ones like that or if you are a MOBILE GAMER than DON'T even touch this beauty because i hate to see bad comments from the people that they don't know what they are holding.

Very good phone in N series,Nokia must come forward either with N series or apply for Android aginst its compititor like samsung and apple.
