The phone usually lags when i recieve a text or when my browser page has heaps of ads on it. i love how flawlessly emails work on this thing, especially the syncing.. ive never had troubles with it.. i want to update to take advantage of multitasking and music controls.. but seems like i have to wait a while.. how i can last..

There's only a slight lag when all the emails & accounts are syncing. Unless you have hundreds of friends & all are very active in FB. Battery will drain faster if using 3G, wifi is better. Battery life can easily last 1 day, without power saving
The default player can queue the music. For better equaliser, there're some apps like Sigma Player, Music Kloud.
If you want to listen to the youtube music videos without it pausing, there's the Open VIdeo Player.

For videos, files, use Nokia Link.
If this 2 dont work, try scroll back a couple of pages or search in talk maemo.com. They were using Outlook to transfer
Today I played a little bit with a N9. In reality the phone is VERY attractive, Nokia made a GOOD job. It's slim, it's not too big. The UI looks cool. I think it's worth to buy it(at least the 16 GB version), because the phone as I know will have support. It's too sad that Meego is dead. Meego should be bought by HTC. :>
..millions Indian prepare to welcome the world famous Nokia N9 when it reach the county, readying to buy it at any cost.
So sad , their half brother Lumias when launch on 16th November 2011,
peoples will look down upon it.

To be honest, iPhone 4 and 4S display uses old LCD technology compared to most smartphones that have been released in the past 2 years. The pixel density is pretty meaningless in real world situations compared to 480x800 on 4.0" displays. LCD displays that is used by Apple requires a backlighting which can be from either cathode or LED whereas AMOLED pixels provide their own backlight hence it is bright, better contrast (black background makes the screen look like it's off), slimmer, energy efficient especially considering the limited battery charge on phones, this can be immensely helpful and the response time has also shown to be better than TFT-LCD.
Now those are actual reasons why AMOLED is better than LCD screens unlike like your blatant, groundless fanboism.

The Most efficacy , most wonderful fone that Nokia could ever produce....
Thanks Meego OS for the best users interface and customisable super smart fone

[deleted post]Wow..i didn't know that the comment section have been "upgraded" into online market.
[deleted post]Download the nokia software updater software to your computer and update directly through your desktop.
I got sick of waiting for the update to be pushed through by my carrier so i did it that way and it detects straight away, downloads and installs for you

Otherwise wait for the official update like everyone else. :p

farazmustang, 13 Nov 2011i got it!! it seems that u bought it from a cap plan which is actually not an unlocked phone! ... moreUGH! i just dont get why an OTA update has to go through the carrier, and to know that vodafone actually has no idea about the update gets me frustrated. I got sick of android because of all the delayed updates and broken promises so i hope nokia doesnt do the same. i honestly love this phone and it feels great when others stare in envy, but i hate how the browser stops responding every now and then and how sometimes my opened applications randomly close. I listen to music 24/7 and to actually swipe, unlock, open application then chamge song is very inconvenient. I hope the update gets here before late december. Is it possible to get the update earlier if i get my phone unlocked? btw thanks for your help, but i really need the update because my phones lags at times especially when im in an application and i recieve a message, it stutters and randomly shows my wallpaper for a second. plus my brothers one is experiencing battery issues and we hoped the update can fix that rather than going through the process of replacing handsets. i couldve got any phone but i decided to get this.. so nokia please make me proud.
th3D, 13 Nov 2011i dont believe you have compared N9 and Arc S, sony ericssons current lineup of android fones ... moreyou dont know what are you talking about, you have to see try and than talk here such stuff,in real life the best displays on the market is retina and reality from SE!)who cares about viewing angels on the phone it is not a tv!!!!)

im happy i got the 16gb..since it was the apps partition that looked too small for me...but when its the same on the 64gb..then its better to have 16gb... i dont keep much music and pics etc..i transfer pics after i take them to my laptop...so its fine with me..i also never watch movies on my cellphone...so its good for me... its jst the three partitions that are kinda puzzling...i had the e7 before this...and it had 14.6 gb single partition for all my stuff..apps songs vids pics games etc..so it looked better i guess...
btw there isnt a led light option in video rec..what would u say about that...u own an n9 urself right?
jst mention the pro's and con's according to u..for me its the led light in video rec..and the lack of portait twelve key alphanumeric keypad for texting(for me the portrait qwerty is v small to type..makes mistakes frequently..)
