For info to Malaysian,
Nokia N90 is available in your country. But it is confirmed that whether is it offically lauched.
Cheers.
You should be taking good care of your phone instead of dropping it to smash the lens. But basically vibra was removed to reduce the possibility of the lens being faulty due to prolonged shock. Furthermore, vibra is usually implemented on the area near the speakerphone which in this case is on the camera module itself.
For everyone who wants to know when the phone will be released in Singapore, I have stated before, it will be out by 23rd July 2005. Nokia has called to confirm with me a few days back.
Dealers' rubbish saying it would be released in September is completely bullshit.
For those of you who are just guessing about vibration. It does not have vibration for sure. Check out the user manual for N90 that just posted by Nokia. http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_N90_UG_en.pdf
i see, dosent that mean it will be fragile so if you were to drop it, then the lense would smash?? isnt there any features to stop this kelv?
This is the good looking and slim trim mobile phone use this and I am sure you love this mobile-->

It's because of the delicate carl zeiss lens. But I find it's more to do with the internal structure of the phone composition that makes the vibration very weak and therefore Nokia decided to forgo the function, which seems silly.
no vibration? i really like this phone and i intendED to get it, but without vibration you could miss those all- important calls... what are nokia thinking rleasing a phone with no vibration?
I've have seen this phone last week in Kuala Lumpur and it was not a prototype. The design is beautiful but it's quite big and not suitable for a lady. There's no vibration function due to the carl zeins lens . We have to swivel the camera position and display screen if we want to make vid call plus the light not so bright if we want to use as vid call in the dark area. PLUS .. to EXPENSIVE !! in Malaysia it is about Rm 3400 - 3100 .
it comes out third quarter in singapore plus it does have vibration for sure
Sorry for my inaccurate statement that I posted earlier about N90's vibration.
Its' prototype had it just for tests but Nokia has phoned me to confirm its specifications that it has no vibrate mode due to the delicacy of the Carl Zeiss Lens and it's screen.
Any enquires you may email me @ teokelvin5@hotmail.com
I repeat for the last time ever.
The phone has vibration.
Yes vibration is very important to me, too. PLEASE if someone who is reading this owns the phone or have seen it personaly, please tell us if there is a vibration or not. IT IS VERRY IMPORTANT. I BEG YOU!!!
