Look guys,SE K750i/W800 ia a not a smartphone while nokia N90 ia a smartphone. Even though SE is a plain phone but it can fight the features of the N90 smartphone. You should compare the SE Pseries on the nokia smartphones. SE is planning to launch a new smatphone, according to my source that it is the P950 which has a touch screen, dual cam(1.3mp at the back),262k,memorycard and the body design is like the treo 600.
N90's price makes it even more exclusive. To those who cant afford, stick to your low budget SE and stop making noise here in N90's forum, this phone is not meant for you kiddo.
I have this N90 phone. The spec. on paper sound great, but the actual fact the out come is not so good. Shame!
I trust myself & my own judgement more than any of these so called award association......look at those academy or music award & you will catch what I mean!
SE 750/800 is definately a better phone in most areas, and they are much smaller!
This N90 will never sell as well nor as popular as the SE. Anyway, this is a hugh, hugh "MOBILE" phone!
yep thats its! sony ericcson lost =D!
Today Nokia has announced that its flagship phone Nokia N90of the N-series has been awarded the European Multimedia Phone of the Year by EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association).
some people like nokia n90 n some like sony w800i n its upto them to decide which 1 to buy n i like both of them but expensive n waiting for the price to go down n currently using nokia 6670 n s700i n very good phones
quote from EISA
"The N90 is true best-of-breed multimedia phone, stuffed full of advanced photo, video, audio and messaging features. Its rotating Carl Zeiss lens endows it with serious photographic ability, including capturing – and editing – 2 MegaPixel digital photos and MPEG4 352x288 resolution video. Users can even adjust white balance and select from seven picture and four color modes for the best possible results. But at the same time this phone is completely connected, offering web browsing, email and downloads at the enhanced 3G network speeds. Its audio player handles MP3 and AAC files, and with Bluetooth and USB interfaces it couldn’t be easier to hook up with headsets and other devices."
EISA - a highly influencial society related to bradly speaking consumer electonisc which every year gives award for the best priduct in various consumer electronics categories prized NOkia N 90 as the best multimedialny mobile phone - no comments required
Well cant be denied N90's photos quality loses to K750i in term of its colour exposure. There's no excuse for that ( After all SE known for its Cam tech and Nokia for its Mobile tech) Basically both phones' cameras quality and sharpness are comparable. N90's video shooting is superb, much better than alot other current market competitors. Featurewise I would suggest N90 not forgetting its smartphone feature and gorgeous outlook. I cant keep my eyes and hands off it, its just too attractive. Best display, great video, professional and classical design, very user friendly yet comfortable keypads. Strongly recommend this Nokia High N-series.
About N91's feature, I have no clue at all. I dont own one and its way too early to talk about it now. Its release date should be around the end of the year which is scheduled before Xmas.
Breaks my heart that the N90 does NOT have vibration.
In the business environment, this is a requirement. How could they leave it out ?
Hey thanks for the info. So how's N90? Any idea whether the close-up function will be included in the N91?
K750I vs N90
N90 has bigger sceen
k750I has better cam qulity
N90 has better qulity video
K750I is smaller
N90 is 3G
To be fair, I think we all should reserve our comments till we have the phones in our own hands to confirm the functionality, vibration and camera quality.
Pointless to debate or dramatise the whole issue when u DONT even HAVE the phone !
take a break, guys !
Go to camera setting, set your cam to Close-up mode. When you're ready for a shot, hold the lower shot button until u see the green indicator light is on (Which means the image is focused and is locked) then press fully. Or you can refer to your N90's userguide book :)
Can anyone please tell me how to take a pic like this with the N90? (With a blur background but clear object)
Wat adjustment i will need to make to the camera program?
Re: Go through the N90 pics
I'm happy you sound reasonable now. My only comment about the pictures taken in Taiwan (http://www.pbase.com/exatbodi/...n90_gallery) - is that they were taken with "interest", the right time and moment. In addition, these pictures are more authentic since EXIF information are still intact in the images. I’m writing a simple user review about this phone as well. As soon as it becomes available in my local market, I will buy it. I will collect all user-taken pictures soon with their name and permission. This is just a personal hobby. No money earning involve for I have many. LOL.
Re: Nokia Vs. Sony Ericsson
What skater42 is implying is that when it comes to commodity of cell phone, it's Nokia all the way and to reiterate, Nokia has made it to the most powerful position. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU SAY NOKIA HAS CRAPPY CELL PHONES AND SE HAS THE BEST. People won’t care. For me, they are both ok. It's not merely base on your personal preference alone. You cannot tell people that a phone being heavy and big is not best buy. Your preference is different from others and mine as well. Yes, Nokia makes good marketing, and to use our "sentido common", IT'S WHAT BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS DO. People wake-up
Look at Microsoft, is Windows perfect? is it bug free? You, you there and you, what’s your computer’s operating system? What’s the world’s 90% of operating system? Mac is great, Linux is good. But who has the best marketing strategy? Who has the most consumer friendly system? Who has the widest support for software and hardware? The most developers? WINDOWS.
Who has the world’s widely accepted mobile operating system? Will software and hardware developers create software/hardware for phones that are not common on the public’s hand? Again, people wake-up.
Yes don’t buy the N90 if it has no vibration. You can buy the Nokia 1100. It’s one monster of a vibration phone. You can even use it to shake chocolate scrambles.
to skater 42,, think i remember you from gx30 debate on bluetooth etc.having trouble with moto mpx 220 & have put a mssge on that site if you can help thanx.soorry to use this topic on wrong forum but where all in dilemas arent we!!!
My dear dj_ashtray, you may be right about Nokia in Europe. But my dear European friend, Asia has by far the most phones when it comes to the latest models, and one reason why the latest models appear in Asia first. Europeans are stingy, as I have many European friends and U wont believe the phones they carry, ancient is a mild word. Nokia's and most other phones makers , have developed phones with an eye on what Asians want. Be real .
