> In reply to mona @ 2010-08-27 06:54 from Mfxf - click to readNavigate to the song from File Manager. Tap and hold on the song you want to send until you get a menu which has a 'share' option. Tap the Share and you get Send via bluetooth option.
You can also tap on the File Manager status bar once you have selected your song to get the 'share' option.
Not just songs, any file can be sent this way (For Fil below).

- FM transmission and reception are both supported. Both the softwares are free and available for download in Maemo extras
- Voice guided navigation -> Sygic maps
- Koffice and Abiword are in soon to come.
All free, available as a one click installation from the n900.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-08-26 11:10 from PSL6 - click to readWell just search for Sygic Mobile Maps for India N900 in google, you will get it.
The unzipped rar file contents was around 270 MB. It also has a keygen that will help you to activate the software. I heard the software can be downloaded from torrent as well but I haven't tried it though. It's totally worth installing this application.

This phone is for geeks and hard core bussiness end, not for casual or multimedia freaks.
This phone dont have FM, equalizers, mms forwarding, call recording,no divx support(only xvid), if you have 1GB of images then you browsing will slow down.
you can wait for the nokia n8, its having capacitve scree,if u use the capacitive screen you dont go for the resistive screen again.

I have heard that you can't do *123# on this phone?
I mean does it supports special characters while dialing/calling?
I have been a Symbian user in the past having no knowledge about Linux or Maemo. Will it be safe if I choose this phone? I like the features of this device very much especially it's 32 GB inbuilt memory, good mozilla browser, decent camera and finally DivX video codec support out of the box.
..but some limitations like not able to make a video call on network, no send file over bluetooth, no FM, no free voice guided navigation on GPS, no editing office files and no special typing support while dialing are some issues which are holding me back.
How many third party applications are available for the issues i have mentioned above and are they all available free on the internet or do I have to hack the firmware or something like people do in symbian phones?
N900 users, Please provide your inputs. Appreciate your help in this regard. Thanks in advance.
