Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970There's no fix for it since Rogers doesn't support UMTS 900/1700/2100, only 850 and 1900 which the Nokia doesn't support.

harry , 24 Mar 2010i had bought n900 since month ago but the problem is in it's battery it doesn't last for more ... moreHello Harry
this aint a problem or a bug to be fixed! the battery life is limited due to the high calibre of the device! some other proper smart phones may last alittle longer but not a great deal. A small price to pay i feel!
I guess it may see some slight improvments with future software updates.
If you wanna battery that lasts you'd have to get a Eseries or something similar but then you aint got the high end device you want!
deep space bar, 24 Mar 2010hey buddy do you know how to reflash the phone without connecting to OviSuite cause i still ha... moreSorry man but I dont know. I'll try to find out but at this time not to sure.
The phone is excellent. I have been using it for 2 weeks now. Every penny spent is worth it. Better than the Iphone 3g. Buy a global or sim free version though easier to update the firmware if not updated already and better GUI. Word of caution though. Don't buy it off Vodafone UK. You won't get any updates for the fone till the next year as they wont move their lazy bums to test it quickly.
Barcode, 24 Mar 2010I have my own headphones that I bought at Best Buy and they work fine on my N900.hey buddy do you know how to reflash the phone without connecting to OviSuite cause i still haven't got my MicroUSB fixed yet and i wanna reflash it via OTA
other headphones other than Nokia's will not be usable on n900
i've received my second n900 today (after returning my first one) with the same issue -- cannot use my own headphones - i hear a loud distortion noise
i think it's due to the TV-out option that this 3.5mm jack offers, that affects the audio in normal headphones
nokia's headphones work well (and they are of good quality btw)
