That's also the cause of the delay, they want to offer the best experience possible.

i use this mobile its realy amazing, big screen nice keyboard wanderfull touch...32gb memory nicccceee
why the screen getting bigger n bigger...i bet this one is quite heavy phone...when typing could be slipped from hand, then bam u loose ur phone...
good design though and tech though XD
I don't understand why people are listening to rumors about the phone being delayed when the nokia's official website itself doesn't change the date of availability:
excuse me to all dealers of dif. brands of phones.I always sees that even nokia is trying to make phones better than others they still favor others like the blackberry phones,it seems that that brand is making the same design of fones but dif in colors and less in feature and they are a lot expensive than full featured pack smartphones of nokia.when i went to a website and observed the prices,im shock bcoz nokia is cheaper they did not even notice the 32 GB of n97 they should make the most expensive!!!!!!!!!very dissapointing to other brands...NOKIA RULES!
if the pre-production were sent to maemo users and they werent happy with it, then users with no maemo experience will difinitely not like this phone.
deep space bar, 22 Oct 2009it's 2gb now LOLI'm glad to hear it has been upped abit, but why not unlimit it and let the user decide. Especially as with a max of 48 GB of storage potentially go be avai;bale, 2 GB doesnt cut it.
Needless to say I'll be buying :D
Anonymous, 22 Oct 2009This reminds me of the N97 and the N96... ...so it should be ready in June or July?Better than to be launched prematurely like the iPhones
SymbianWorld, 22 Oct 2009The Nokia N900 has been pushed back to November:

The Nokia N900 has been pushed back to November:
apple used nokia gsm, umts and wlan technologies in all 3 generations of iphones that too without paying for it!! you thiefs rofl!!! what a bloody joke man!!! apple sucks!!
I hope they take off the 256MB storage limit for third party software that was on the earlier versions :S
These are surely rewarding features that Nokia has added to its roster. thanks to this model that definitely blows out all other nokia models, my very expensive N97 will be priced as Junk by the time this model comes out. Im going for the I-phone from now on.
Anonymous, 22 Oct 2009I'm glad Nokia has posponed the release date.
It shows they're dedication to try to get i... moredamn right now they will tweek with software and actually add FM software instead of a 3rd part app and have the 2gb phone memory and fix small minor things but
pre ordering mine in 2 weeks
I'm glad Nokia has posponed the release date.
It shows they're dedication to try to get it right even if it might hurt them in the short term. If they didn't care they would just release it full of bugs with a "rake in the money now and fix it later" attitude like a lot of other companies do.
This is a professionals phone and those who will go buy an iphone because they can't wait any longer are the real loosers. I'm waiting for mine. N900 is going to be such a success.
