Even, 29 Sep 2009I've had the prototype in my hands, and yes its greater than iPhone in all aspects. It's true ... moreMe too, I am a fan of iPhone, never have trouble with it or with my iPod touch. If we use iPhone as Apple recommends, it'll be trouble free.
I've had the prototype in my hands, and yes its greater than iPhone in all aspects. It's true that a new version probably will be released shortly after, but that's the way it is with technology. IPhone is currently taking 90% of cellphone repairing companys slots at the moment. I'm personally a fan of iPhone, but as a phone, it's very troubled.
y is d battery life not shown? and all thesame i really like the phone...
why the display is so blurry? thought it outclass iphone in all aspects. the characters are hardly see clearly. does it really live up with its spec in paper?
don't waste your penny on nokia phones as after a month or so another upgraded version like N900 mini, or N901 will be released and it will be out of date. cheap looking phone anyway. good luck if you buy nokia because nokia doesn't have its own os.
Executive Vice President Dr. Ari Jaaksi answering Maemo and N900 guestions.
Nokia said the N900 will not sell as well as its other devices, as networks will be discouraged to stock it.
Nokia executive vice president Kari Tuutti told Mobile News the N900 user interface cannot be customised to include network applications, which will be a bone of contention with the networks.
As a result, Nokia may find it difficult to form network partnerships for the internet tablet, Tuutti said.
Tuutti said: "We have a good, long lasting relationship with the networks, but we understand that they may not be happy with the user interface because it cannot be customised."
Nokia executive vice president and general manager of multimedia Anssi Vanjoki also hinted sales may not be encouraging as the N900 is the fourth generation internet tablet out of Nokia's five generation programme.
Vanjoki said, although the N900 is "great product", further innovation is still to come to create a fifth evolution in internet tablet devices.
Vanjoki (pictured) said: "In 2004 I announced a five-step programme with five generations of software evolution that will come with what will be the next generation of computers.
"The Nokia 770 was the first step, the N900 is the fourth. We have one step to go before we will have what we believe is the future of computers."

Can anyone explain please, what
for is 32gb internal storage inside
a cell phone?
I only see explanation about $$$$$
rip off that this phone is going to cost again!!!!
For $800 (which is probably how much this NOKIA will cost) the phone MUST HAVE: 1) Regular and micro USB ports (not just micro) , 2) must be able to connect with optical mice, 2)must have a processor and RAM memory equal to a mini note book one!
