I am so glad to see you again in this forum,I also used n81 8gb and n95 8gb,but honestly saying both gadgets totally failed to produce high quality audio like my n91 8gb.Thats why I'll never sell my n91 to anyone.Because N91 8GB is always rulzzzz.
Pappy are you planning to just wait for N91 sucssesor? Read some where that N81 real is not the N91 upgrade.
Its been a while. I sent back my N81 and am back to using my N91 8GB. Nothing really wrong with the N81 but the audio was not loud and crisp emough for me. I see that there are still some new buyers of N91, N91 8GB so i will post again the link that has the answers to most of their questions.

it hangs for around 15 hours out of the 24 hours in a day...i ve been using it and it hangs after every sms i send...n the nokia gallery ppl say its not repairable..the keys just stop functioning..i wd suggest never buy this phone..dont even think about it...
Realy, N91 is a very good phone. It may be big but is usefulness outweight its bulkyness. However, I had problem with my had drive after the phone fell down from my hand a distance of one metre 1m from the floor. this made me to conclude that the phone is fragile also. Sound wise, for me the phone is the best mobile blaster.
i'm enjoying very much my N91 8GB! The only problem is that the camera has an old interface! You can't tweak the image settings that much.. They could have paired the phone with N73's camera! It would be awesome.. The audio quality is superb!!! I hooked it up on my Altec Lansing speaker via 3.5mm jack and the result was fantastic!!!!!! :) The sound quality is waaaaay better than my mp3 player.. hehe.. Battery life is great! Unlike my Nokia 7500 Prism, which has a very very short battery life! :(
N81 8GB in comparison to N91 8GB has the same audio quality, perhaps has the same audio chip. N81 is an improved N91, larger screen, improved music player interface, better navigation (NaviWheel), and some extras like NGAGE. But isn't the successor of N91. The real successor of N91 is yet to be announced in 2008. Sorry to say, Walkman phones don't have audio chip so they don't sound like N91.
Nokia N91 (8GB) has been Nokia's flagship music phone for 2 years now being the first phone ever equipped with 4GB/8GB hard drive and having dedicated audio chip that produces superb audio quality that no other music phones nor music players including iPods can beat.
ive just bought a n91 and the sellers says the hard drive is ' not available' and may need to be reformated is this easily done/ refixable ?????????????????????????????????????????? help would be v much apreciated
Does this phone still lag with the latest firmware installed?? Some of my friends told me that it hangs a lot, but they're not sure if they have the latest firmware. So does anyone know if it doesn't hang to often anymore?? I'm planning to buy the N91 8GB. Is this a good decision???
No .sis applications are installing but .sis themes are installing. only .sisx applications are installing in N91 8GB. my firmwares is totally up to date. now problem is that i am not finding so much .sisx file. is there any web site where i can able to download a lots of .sisx file in free?
my N91 8GB will be arriving on wednesday! can't wait!!!!!!!! :) what's the latest version for this model? is it safe to upgrade the version via website? i mean, are there possibilities that instead of fixing the the problem, more problems might occur???? i'm just worried! hehe.. i hope it won't happen to me.. :)
I have iPhone(hacked), N81, N82, N91 8GB and 6120c. I was looking for a music smartphone. I only found two phones that are BEST if not better in SQ: Nokia N91 8GB and Samsung i450. Nokia N95 8GB had a crappy sound, and the XpressMusic is no where near N91's. Finally, I decided to buy the N91 8GB. It is total AWESOMENESS! Slick black design in aluminium casing, with 3G, WiFi, and best of all, 3.5mm AV PORT!!! Who cares about the camera, if you're into music, definitely get this! Update the firmware and the bugs will be fixed
if youre a phone geek you would probably appreciate the stuffs inside this smartphone. best of the best cellphone i ever had!!! at first it hanged for several times dn i updated the firmware now im using this for 2yrs.. has music, msword, can play dvd formats, camera cam and video, fm player, WIFI b/g..damm. dont mess with this phone..the best phone i ever had!!no regrets really...
Hi. Ive been using N91 4GB for more than 1 year now. This week Ive bought N91 8GB. I'm so in love w/ this phone. Sound quality is the best among all Ive heard. Design is even more classy now that it's in black. I love the improved music player, the WLAN, the video,This phone is really a masterpiece. Can't make any bad comment in this device. I'm just so happy I now have both N91 4GB and N91 8GB.
why .sis files are not installing in N91 GB :S when i am try to install this it say " File Not Supporting". i am worried about it... need a solution.
my nokia N91 said start up failed!! please assits me where can i get a software!!! or plz tell me what to do!!!
The word i would use to describe the sound capabilities of this music phone is: IMPECABLE !I've had a LOT of phones over the years but nothig comes even close to this masterpiece, i am using it now with the Panasonic DJ100 and at full volume there are no distorsions whatsoever, even more the headphones are vibrating from all the power it has, for all those saying it isn't the mother and father of all music phones i say to you this: "don't knock it 'till you've tried it"
a lot of phones come and go but nothing beats n91 for its music. i agree that its big, camera isn't too good (lotta phones with way b8r cams)but it truly is the phone with the best music output. i've had the 8gb for almost a year now...longest for me. wanted to change to a different music phone but didn't find anything comparable. even have the ipod touch but ain't as good as my n91...
btw...i wanna connect it to the wifi network at home but its not connecting...when i was in australia, it easily connected to any wifi network but at home in india...its just shows connecting and then nothing happens...any suggestions???
