To AE86

Do you send alot of SMS, emails, MMS etc and open up alot of apps in one day? Someone who had that taskmaster sw showed that phone RAM memory gets used up over time especially with downloaded apps and that browser. I like to power on/off my phones (my PC too for that matter) every few days to start fresh

Hi

Sim Card registration failure happens when you sim card is either not set up for the network or the network has some momentary "down time". In some countries this happens occasionally.

As for the bigger battery. N91 8GB I thhink has better music layback time than N91 4GB (2.10sw I havent compared with 2.20 yet). You can however force in a Bl6C that will but you another 15-20%.

As for audio enhancements for the N91 8Gb - they added Bluetoothe Stereo.

pappy,

I have my sms saved to my phone memory. I've never had this problem when I receive any incoming call or sms. It has it's moments, but still not confident that it's 100% working properly. If you know of any more info please let me know. You're advice has always fixed my N91 problems

Thanks

I havent seen that but i do notice (with all sw versions) that if you have messages cued up in the outbox and you get an incoming call (or outgoing too i think) or keep composing messages while the outbox has items sometimes it gets socnused and defers the message sending. I am not 100% certain it happens since it happens infrequently.

Do yu have your sms set to phone or HDD memory?

Pappy,

I upgraded my fone to 2.20 & now when I send out text, it fails to send (this is a hit or miss, sometimes it goes through & sometimes it doesn't). The error just reads "unable to send text message". I get this once in awhile but I am about to throw this fone against the wall (not really but this is my frustration).

Any thoughts,
Thanks

Hi everybody, I have one question until I buy the cell phone I think is appropriate. May someone please put the following cell phones in order in terms of loudness and music quality (CLEARNESS), and headphone wise. These are the cell phones :

Nokia N91
Nokia N93i
Nokia N93
Nokia N95 Nokia N73

I really want to buy a cell phone for it's music and the camera. I love having it loud and clear, so please, I'd really appreciate it if someone would put that cell phone list I gave you in order in terms of : LOUDNESS, QUALITY WISE (CLEARNESS), and HEADPHONE WISE.

Thanks.

Korngear - I agree with you

Someone also asked me why I am "obsessed" with the N91 and why dont I help people with other phone models

Simple - Answer : I do not own other phone models (and probably wont until th enext N91 comes along). I have an N91 (my wifes now) and an N91 8Gb and i can really only answer questions etc on stuff i know :)

Hey! Please be soft and sensible.
I have N91 for over nine months, and I guess I am not obsessed with it.

Now with my last famous word I will finish my statement.

N91 was announced in APRIL,2005. At the same time symbian OS 9.1 was heavily being examined and I guess critics were complaining much about its frequent crashing. One year it needed to released to running the interface smothly, all the charishma with its ADVANCED MUSIC CHIP+SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR MUSIC+AUDIO QUALITY was done. And I can bet apple's IPOD had nothin compared to N91's sound quality.N91 has crisp, fabulous music sound quality from its beginning.
N91 released in april 2006, still crashed, BUT IT HAS STUNNED ME LIKE STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN ONLY BECAUSE OF ITS
SUPERB SOUND QUALITY/BASS RESPONSE/INTELLIGENT MUSIC SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT.
At bout same time 3250 released, people like us started spreading rumor that which one was best:3250 or N91?
The result was favorable to N91.
After some times, we started a campaign if we can get the N73 ME to beat the hell out of N91.
It's gone reverse;)
N73 ME is from N73's same hardware, with no dedicated music chip, no intention to beat N91. Nokia has made correction only to its music software department, nothing can be expected as much as possible if we look closer to it deeply.

N95: Has same condition ,EVEN IF AS somebody SAID, NOKIA BRING BOUT A CHANGE IN ITS MUSIC SOFTWARE CONDITION, nothing CAN BE DONE MUCH TO BEAT THE HOLY HELL OUT OF NOKIA N91.
Now 5700:it has its upperside like 5300 [brick],has got its twistin attitude like 3250 [sucks], has dedicated mp4 player at poor 15 FPS,has so called/hyped "Music cheap" and has the fundamental elements from Xpress music solution.
Y know what, none of these things can beat N91 to make N91 inferior to 5700.
Reasons:the harware integration, costs, intention;) everything is not targetted to beat N91.
Y know why: because if nokia had a wish to KILL ITS OWN MUSIC FLAGSHIP, THEY WOULD HAVE MADE IT WITH DAMN SD CARD FORMATS, WITH THAT 3 MPIX CAMERA, ABOVE ALL WITH AN ALL-IN-ONE ATTITUDE
While, N91 has super audio chip, better music menu, best sound quality AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HAS THE EASIEST WAY TO EXPAND ITS AUDIO AND VIDEO [IN FUTURE] EXPEIENCE BY MICRODRIVE EXTENTION;);););)

Future: what can be done?
well, nokia will make N91 with furtherin its HDD, increasin processor rate, increasin RAM,addin stereo speakers like N73, providin all kinds of MPEG4 codecs, a bit development in video recording and of course enhancing its sound quality
[Listening to my n91 is like a dreamin since july07, 06 till this night,April 09,07]
Or nokia can make another N91 like nseries phone WITH ONLY ABOVE STATED SPECS
CAUSE
WE
THE
N91
PROUD
OWNERS
WANT
NOTHING
MORE THAN
IT.
THANKS.

N91 ME if you want nothing but music, are after superb hi-fi sound quality, need a lot of storage space.
N73 ME if you want the best of both worlds, photography and music. However, N73 ME is inferior in sound output through the headset but superior in the loudspeaker to that of N91's.
N80, if you want an all-in-one device. Sound quality is behind N91. Camera loses to N73. But has more extra software and hardware features.
P.S.: Not all N91 4GB are problematic. Mine is almost perfectly okay!
