In the official website, there ain't no such "N91 8GB Music Edition" product, just "N91 8GB". I think people are just exaggerating it's name. Lol!
We all know that N91 & N91 8GB have a 2.1" display with 176x208 pixels resolution and 262K colors. So it's virtually just the same display as that of 6680, 6681, 3250, N70, N72.
N90/N80 have the same 2.1" display but with 352x416 pixels high resolution so I think u all know the "BIG" difference.

N91 vs N91 8GB (or "music edition" although the original N91 was music as well so Im not sure where this music edition came from):

- 8GB of HDD versus 4 GB
- Bluetooth Stereo versus no BT stereo
- Visualizations
- UPNP
- Better Gallery
- HDD tools like scan, defrag etc
- Nice black color on metal
- slightly improved audio output qualty (headphones)

These are the main differences

cheers

To Jawahir Farooq Ali,

I don't own Nokia N91, but i have the knowledge about this phone. The only difference is the Firmware version and the Memory Size. N91 only have 4 GB while N90ME has 8GB.

Hi,
Is there any one to help me out...? If so please let me know the difference between N91 and N91 Music Edition. Presently I am using Sony Eriksson P990i. Don’t think that I am not satisfied with that... Actually my problem is that the battery back up of P990i. It’s really very bad when compared with Nokia N80. Recently only I changed my N80 to P990i. But feature wise its really too good and good phone also... only the problem is that while listening to Music and Radio in P990i the Battery drains out very soon...
So I would like to go for a Nokia N91 or N91 Music Edition... So I need a better suggestion from ur side...
I hope so you people will not disappoint me and will mail me the details…
This is my mail id jawahirfa@gamil.com
Thanks and Regards

To - Ghalib Jawed

This just means your phone has been on a while )an some ram was used up) and/or you have too many applications open. Also if using the browser and browsing many large web sites then after a while the memory has issues (again RAM memory not the HDD) Power cycling the device will solve it.

To
louie,
i wanna say something,u said in ur post that n91 dosent have a good sound via speaker,i agreed completely, but my friend i must wanna mention that true music concept of music phone is great ,crystel clear sound via headphone, and now everybody recognised this phone that it sounded better via headphone than any other music phone, like SE walkman series.true music lover is always like to listen a music via better headphone.get it?

To Andy,

Hey Andy, i don't want to say anything againts nokia but Nokia N91 is not the best music phone in the World. My Cousin has N91, yes the earphone sound quality is really OUTSTANDING but when it comes in the loudspeaker Sony Ericsson W-Series works the best. Because it has a walkman player and a mega bass also a stereo widening to make the sound louder.

The best headphones to pair with Nokia is Bose or Sennheiser, i tried this to my N80 and iPod and it Works perfectly.

To N91: Try this. Connect using usb mass storage mode and run chkdsk /R in command line on your pc. Option /R scans whole disk for physical errors.

I bought my N91 five months ago, it was used so I formated it and update its firmware and it works like no other phone I ever got or seen, haven't crashed or displayed any error messages ever since. great sound quality vie ear-piece sadly its not that good when played on the phone speaker but still its my best phone. Oh and if u wanna hear some good music change the head phones, never use the ones that comes with it, I'm using a panasonic headset and it works like magic.

Hello,
Have you also encountered "Disk error: Retry or data will be lost" sort of error message popping out in the display? I've experienced that few times and whenever I press "Retry" my phone reboots. What do u think is that about? Is that an indication that my hard drive is corrupted again. I'm fed up formatting the HD & uploading songs all over again!
Thank you.

mindblowing man, first time i experienced great geat quality of sound from any mobile phone.its better via better pair of headphone,i think n91 is only one real music phone in mobile world present today.se's walkman fones are far far behind from n91.N91 is really a icon.HATS OFF FOR NOKIA.DOING GREAT JOB NOKIA.

Hi guys

popped out last night and met a guy off of Ebay, he had a brand new unused Nokia N91 with Version 2 Firmware, he got it as a replacement handset from his 02 insurance and then 2 weeks later he got a Nokia N95
i gave him £110 for it and im pleased with it
i couldnt stand the lack of volume and audio quality while playing MP3`s on my N95, i still use my N95 as my main phone, but will use the N91 whenever i go on a long trip
why is the N91 just 1000 times better at playing MP3`s?
its louder, better sound quality etc
i feel like i been duped getting the N95 when it should have been as good for playing Music

so far the N91 hasnt crashed or rebooted or any of the problems that i had with my previous ones that i sent back with HD problems

anyone else done the same as me?
