Nokia N91. the best in the market. the picture quality is better than any phone that i have seen that is out. the video is also better than any phone i have seen. my friends could not believe it. In my opinion Nokia is the best example of classic. Nokia N91. 'I luv it' oh yeah it is in Sean Paul's breakout video.
This phone is not fot everybody....I think it's for music lover's young adults, people who knows about tecnology and have the money to buy it.
I have the N91 for a few months by now with the latest firmware and it never hags and works pretty fast by smartphone standards.
I work in the music industry and I compared face to face the N91 with any other device in the market (SE w300, w810, w850, w900, w950, Ipod, mp3 players, etc) and this phone sounded much more clear and loud.
Besides, the N91 is a high end phone, all aluminum looks elegant and classy....not the cheap looks of teen oriented SE phones.
For me, the Nokia N91 is a classic already....a real winner.
My uncle had this phone for two months now. He said the phone hangs a lot. It is very slow..The display is not that good, my uncle even needs to wear his reading glass....When it comes to music, still accesing it is slow...Music is not that good...3250 sounds better...But having a SE walkman phone specifically the W850 is a real SWEET!! I quite hate N91 phone. Why?
-who needs a Wifi in their phone?
-why would i spend that much money to buy it considering that this phone is beaten by other competitors?
-4 GB and slow? i would buy an Ipod video instead....
Generally i think that Nokia has gone too far with the prices of their products. basic formula is HIGH PRICE=HIGH DISAPPOINTMENT-i think that nokia sticks to the formula. Nokia somehow failed to beat Sony ericsson when it comes to FUN, FUNCTIONALITY, FEATURES, SOUNDS, MUSIC and CAMERA.
Can anyone enlighten me on the ffg and help me answer my questions:
1. what gadget can I use to connect my Nokia N-91 to a sound system and how can i get such gadget?;
2. Must my sound system be able to play mp3 files before such connection can work?;
3.Whats the meaning of wifi & wlan and what are they used for?.
Your response(s) will be gr8ly appreciated..cheers!

i wanted to by this phone since it was first realesed but it was way too expensive. i' ve waited since the prise dropped and i bought a used one. i must confess that the reviews i've read wasn't really helpfull cause they made me chenge my mind of bying a neww one. after one month of extensive use the phone is absolutely perfect and it's not even new. sound quallity rocks and if you are looking only a music phone that the other fetures don't mind you this is the choise. the battery life is excellent and the version 2.10.013 works perfect. i was so stupid listening and reading for all the problems that made e.g shut down, erasing music files and all of that. don't listen to anything. the 4gb is excelent and the 8gb perfect. one of the coolest phones i owened since my job is to sell cell phones. go for it. fully worth of money
korngear...what n99 and n97??do those phone exist??i search and found nothing!!!maybe u mistanken the series....think about it!the phone is cool!stillish
it's a great fone dont get me wrong, but it's just to damn expensive.... with this fone i can buy meself a good quality fone and an ipod..... what difference will it make....
wow dis 1 is rili amazing i lyk it very much,,,hope 2 have dis phone soon....
I think the issue here is you are looking for a smartphone not a music phone. N73 does not have the audio chipset N91 (N91 8GB) has, the N73 headphone audio (the audio that counts) is nowhere near the N91 (or even IPOD) in quality and loudness, It has no 3.5 mm jack, no music keys, no BT stereo, only up to 2 Gbytes...its a music edition of a smartphone - not a music phone. Just listen to it and compare.
I believe you bought the wrong device for what you were looking for.
I dont buy what Nokia had mentioned in the blog, if thats supposed to be true then how can anyone explain the nokia N73 music edition. Its an music phone with 3 mega pixel and awesome resolution and costing only 21000/- N 91 8gb is an mistake because of its resolution, lets admit it NOKIA.
I have bought my N91 in Sept 2006. Now I have problem with this 4 times. In the last, the authorized service point said that it because of the hard disk problem. Now I only can use it as "flinstone" stone age phone. I used Nokia since 1998 from 3, 6, 8, 9, communicator and N series. But for this, I really not recommended this product.
hey papppy , i was just curios, does the BE from n91 sound better then the 1st n91, or we talk about the same music chip here. thanks
I believe Nokia stated on some Blog (mobile burn?) that the lower resolution was to maximize the Music playback (>10.5Hrs from full charge to low battery if you put the Music player on random).
If you ever open up a phone you will see that every display is physically different (even though the screen looks the same). WHY LCD manfuacturers change the physical dimensions every time boggles my mind and I think Nokia, Motorola, SE etc should start demanding they make a standard somehow (then you/they could swap out without having to change the whole design. Same thing about the batteries as well.
I bought the N91 8GB but it was not just for the extra 4GB. I really wanted BT stereo (BT501 headset is brilliant), UPNP althouh i admit i stil havent set up my PC to talk to it), visualizations etc.
Would I like a better screen - sure. Would I sacrifice Music playback time , maybe if it was not too big a hit.
Try to enjoy the MUSIC i suspect thats why you really bought it.
I bought t
