N-92 flunked, I think, somewhere even before its launched. So they trimmed display to 262 K colours. Else why would they announce N-93 even before N-92 is launched ?
They added the needed autofocus. They added ample internal memory. Dont know how much free memory will be available. The specs do not talk of DVB-H. Maybe the battery was draining out too fast in N-92. Dont see vibrate mode. I guess CMOS is same as that used in N-90
Carl-Zeiss lens only corrects optical aberrations. The CMOS they use still suffers
from reciprocity failure.
N-93 should give a talk time of 2-3 hours
and a standby time of 3-4 days.
Nokia is struggling hard to address camera
deficiency and battery life.
They cant make the battery thicker and bigger. Will hit on weight and dimensions.
Their CMOS must be draining away battery while in camera mode.

This phone shows up in the Coming Soon Section for USA on Nokia website, but it is on 900/1800/1900 network? So which phone company network in USA will this work for (Cingular is 850/1800/1900 and thought T-mobile was too)?

This phone is good. If not a little ugly compaed to the N90. But it's just a start I suppose. Can't wait until Nokia take this N-Series range further.

does this have the red eye reduction which N80 has...? offcourse allready LG has proposed a model with 5Mp camera opticcal zoom etc in feb...unless nokia makes things faster ppl will get frustated at one point of time...but nokia stands tall in user interface ,software and the features and the style...which makes ppl nokia addict...

in the NSeries official technical specification they have mentioned it can be used with PC using IR also...but in connectivity they have not mentioned....is it true that it has IRDA?? even N80 can be connected to TV i think using WLAN or UPNP....but here in N93 additionalyy we can connect using ports...
but beware during the release of N93 three more new phones will be released...and surely it will never cost 550euros...it will be more for sure...

Ye
Nokia put IRda in this phone
NO MORE N SERIES FOR ATLEAST 10 - 16 months
no such thing as N81 or N95
they were going to call N93 N95 but named it N93 instead donno if that confused people
and some ppl confuse the N72 wid the N80 so they called it N81 but its really N72
this phone is amazing wht more u want
