Its a good phone. The processor is really fast when it comes to messaging. The only problem I have with this N95 is the GALLERY! It takes so long to browse and open files...so damn slow...
N95 nokia is magnificient, it is must have for any modern chap, thank you to nokia for this great inovation
I was very excited to get my N95 2 weeks ago but must say I am now extremely disappointed. The primary reason I purchased it was for the GPS capability. I took the 3 year navigation option and now wish I hadn't wasted my money. The phone takes absolutely ages to find a satellite. Today I travelled 25km/20 minutes without it picking up a signal. It makes the whole concept of GPS pretty pointless. My wife also got a GPS enabled phone (HTC P3300) which picks up the satellite at the same location in under 10 seconds! The phone also frequently drops calls/reboots while on a call. On paper I have to agree that the N95 is the best phone available. I just wish that the reality could be the same. I have read a couple of posts with regards to the 2 factories and sadly mine is made in Finland so my hopes were again dashed. My recommendation is that if you are considering the phone for GPS look elsewhere.
best phone ever made nokia have hit the jackpot with this beauty plus it is uber powerful and reliable
Good Phone i think people are two fast to write there openion ...............u can try this phone camera is very good and sound is very nice
the baddest mobile i have ever got not good camera result no good reception too heavy too ugly looking it is good to buy nokia1100 than this n95
If it is true that the China-made N95s are defective then Nokia need to either close down the factory or sack some of the staff who are obviously cutting corners in manufacturing. On the subject of batteries, Nokia placed a weaker battery to save weight: WRONG DECISION. IT would have meant only a marginal increase in weight if they had used N93's battery. As for RAM everyone should keep complaining and then perhaps Nokia may listen.
If you go to:
You can download 2 new exclusive themes (one called 'exit' and flower paws') just for the N95 and a couple of exclusive ringtones.
needs better battery life. died on me after 3 hours of music and texting
that is right on, correct. my n95 is made in finland and i havent had any problems at all. buy your n95 make sure you ask if its made in finland. made in finland means no problems
I work for The Carphone Warehouse, a previous comment from a cpw rep said they have had all there n95 re-called. We have not had this problem in our branch or our area. I might be down to luck but i have heard that the N95 was made but 2 differnt factorys. One in finland and the other in china. The handset from finland are perfect but the handset from china can suffer software problems. if you look at the imei number under the battery, you can see there where the handset is made. You can solve the software problem on the china handset's buy taking it to a nokia service center (e.g. Carphone Warehouse) and have the software updated for free.
I have a Nokia n95 myself with vodafone software :( but i have had no problems with it even though it has vodafone software!! The handset is great, the is really NOTHING that mobiles can do that this handset cant! From the 5mp camera, the web browser, GPS!, 3G WITH hsdpa!, 30fps video capture and a large 2.6 inch screen. This really is a great handset. I live in a poor signal area but if i could i would get it on tmobile with there web and walk package. the unlimited browsing is perfect, also the tmobile software is good. This is my experiance of the N95.
plus, does anyone know how i can increase the amount of ram on this phone? any software that will get rid of uninstalled applications that are just there taking up ram for no reason? thxs!!!
i've had the nokia n95 for about 2 months now and i've had no problems at all. the many features of this phone have come in very handy and i have the most powerful fone in my household. the only thng that are wrong wth this phone is the battery life and the lack of RAM! it comes standard with 64mb worth of ram which is quite scarce for a phone with this many features bt as soon as you boot up yhe phone, ur only left with 20mb! now that's just ridiculous! putting together a fone with just 64mb ram is just pointless and vurtually makes simple applications or even multitasking impossible! if you try and browse something over the net, and the web page is full of complex media, which most web pages do have nowerdays, then it most certainly will close! RAM is the only thing that is affecting this fone otherwise it would've been perfect, i've heard that incrasing ram would drain the battery power to the max but there's a simple answer 2 that - supply the nokia n95 with a better phone! i hope this is the last time nokia puts this low amount of ram into their high end phones because the way fone technology is advancing now, 64mb of ram will not be enough to suit our demands from our fones! so this isn't what computers have become but they aren't far off, keep on going nokia!

Hey there every1, i work in carphone warehouse in london, and our whole stock of Nokia N95's had to be sent back, not 1 of them worked, they had varying issues, this has been the worst release of a handset since i have worked, with people returning the phone, we get at least 5 handsets returned every day since the phone was released, we are actually contemplating removing it from the shelf its that bad, The N95 is a big NO GO AREA!
