excellent featues. however, will the perenial problem of nokia which is being a very slow fone be solved?

i have had a sad experience with my n73. i have to return it to my provider and they said they have received a lot of complaints not only from n73 but almost all nokia phones. maybe that's the reason nokia only puts small capacity memory cards. coz they know that if you put 1 gb of memmory the drag would further worsen.

i love nokia phones full packed with features and softwares, but please solve the problem of the drag.

Nokia will probably make a black music edition of this phone after a year or so, it would look great, hope they add more memory also.

in my opinion itis best and ihave never seen & it never comes from other companies like this till 2009 or 2010.also it would have auto recieving internet and also with camera of 50 or more than 50 meter zooming in and having bluetooth camera connecting upto 15 or 20 meters if u answer about my opinion iwill be grateful thanks

Nice phone, but for me - to big!! (like construction brick) and no touchscreen:( it's better to remove camera and gps, but make phone with stylus!!!!

guys we just bought today an n95. although i havent got hold of the phone yet coz its due on the 20th. i was wondering if the one circulating in the market is the prototype or the actual model already. im afraid it must be the prototype and might have lots of glitches. by the way its a smuggle goods. hope some one will reply on this msg.

Truthteller - Forgive me for soundling like I'm lashing out but all I did was provide probably the most solid facts about the phone's release date and price than was previously stated, albeit conjector.

Again, forgive me if I sound like I am craitising you but I am in a position of better knowledge than may others that use this site and thought that I could perhaps clarify some of the many people's questions.

I thought this was one of the main advantages of a forum based site?

I stick by my information, and will further update any new information as long as it is relevant. Not once in my previous post did I state that the information was 100% solid but it is all of the best to my knowledge:

The two statements of information remain: due for shipment to UK in late feb, and price will be a lot higher than 550 euros (or equivalent - based on the similar trend of mark-ups by previous top-end models).

This phone is out of the ordinary. It's too much! Uh,i want it. Only one question is in my my mind about it. How long will it last,seeing that is on slide.

I have one of the most recent N95....
It is almost finished. However there are still minor bugs. Compared to N73 whihc lags alot, it is terrible. This phone lags and freezes often. But all fucntions are working perfectly. Camera is poorer than sony cybershot cameras. The speaker produces great sound with loudest volume for phones. Playing video on this set is impossible as u may lag out halfway...... I have to report to Nokia about any problems with the phones as mine is kind of testing version...... One sure thing is that this phone has lots of thing to improve......

This is getting quite ludicrous to see the same pathetic messages over and over again here.

There are a certain number of FACTS concerning this phone that need to be clearly stated so that people don't waste other people's time with spam and pointless messages:

- The N95 is STILL NOT OUT. PERIOD. Anyone who claims that they have it or have a friend who has it or works for Nokia or heard from someone that it is out in any random less developed country is lying. That's a fact. THE PHONE ISN'T OUT. Prototypes do exist but they aren't the finished product so don't speak about them here.

- About the release date: the only OFFICIAL information is that it will be out in Q1 of 2007. Now Nokia has sometimes delayed their official release date but we don't know anything yet so no dodgy comments saying that the phone will come out at a certain date.

- About the price: again, the only OFFICIAL information is that it will cost 550 Euros (that's about 730 US Dollars). This might change but WE STILL DON'T KNOW. So stop posting false information about prices in your local currencies which are clearly just lies.

- Finally, all the techincal specifications can be found on GSM Arena OR on Nokia's official website. So read the information there instead of asking technical questions which no one can answer yet since no one HAS THE DAMN PHONE.

I hope this will limit the extremely poor quality posts that people write here.

GUYSS!! do not buy this fone b4 it is released formally.. its best to wait.. its not that hard trust me one site i kno for sure is a scam is http://www.elitecellphones.net...ex.php..that site has been goin around changin their name and layout from a while back. they change the name of their manager and address but they dont change the picture of the building they claim they are situated.. i HATE SCAMMERS( almost bout from one but changedmy mind) and so i try my best to enlighten every1 bout dem. IM IMPLORING U. JUST WAIT and DONT get scammed...

The phones a masterpiece its jus looks so cool its a collabaration with business n style n it came out as gud as gold the features a superb, a 5mp camera GPS n thats impressive coz Nokia was always left behind coz of Sonyericsson with there featues n design, but now nokia has gotten ahead with features design n performance. this phone must b the first phone ever 2 b rated over 9/10 by GSM Arena i think this phone will cost over $1000 US but this phone its awsum!!!

Doukan dear, I was so excited when you mentioned your finding the N95 @ "Page Computers", I e-mailed them @ once and e-mailed my brother in San Fransisco since I am in Egypt and they do not ship overseas. I just got off the phone with a sales rep. from their site "Page Computers" and the girl could not find it anywhere on their site, so obviously it was an honest mistake from their behalf. I think in the future one has to get his/her hands on a unit b4 claiming it is on a certain site and also send us all a pic of him/her with the Nokia N95 in their hands...lol
