A lot of friends of mine are using the N95 for few weeks already and everyone is very happy with this phone. But the pictures taken with N95 is no way match my N85 because the N85 I have is 10 megapixels.

I have also ordered two N95 from http://www.qqestore.com/produc...ucts_id=3111 and just received them yesterday. I have downloaded some applications to my new N95 and so far no problems encountered. My girlfriend is still using the stock application for her N95. The cool blue light of N95 is just ravishing but the games is limited, I will download some to my girlfriend's N95 tonight...

Higher megapixels does not mean better picture quality! Nokia knows its fault when it comes to picture quality... lets just take the nokia n93 for example... its pictures are unacceptably very noisy... so what does nokia do? compensate for the noise by adding more pixels, in this way, when you print your pictures on a 6x4 size, it will look sharp enough. This trick is called downsampling. Its like veiwing your pictures on your phone's small screen: it looks nice and sharp, but once you view them on your pc monitor, the noise and blotchy pixels do appear. nokia knows no one will print a 5 megapixel sized pictures, because everyone normally prints 6x4 pictures. so this is the trick that nokia does... adding more and more megapixels to compensate for the poor picture quality, ie. downsampling. i wouldn't be surprised if nokia releases a 10 megapixel phone and still has that noisy, pixelated picture quality.

Yes, Vin, I found this Nokia N95 selling for US$455.00, but I don't think its legit though. Check it out at: http://www.thedigitalparadise....roductID=171
I also tried Ebay several times before, but every time ebay sent me an email warning me about doing business with ill-legit businesses.

Does anyone knows if this device works like PDA that has capacity to read and write word docs, excel.docs and powerpoints presentations. Also, is there a safe place to purchase this product online. I have seen several listings on ebay but they were all hacker's listings.

The camera sound has nothing to do with privacy, real dig cameras have this because it MECHANICAL !

There's never been a reason to have a shutter sound because of the law. You can take pictures of whoever you wanna, as long as it's in public and/or you are on your own property.

It's only illegal when you take pictures of someone, on their property (without any permission)even so, it'll be neglected by the judge/court !
