the phone is not in the shops anywhere in the world....nokia is shipping them so nobody in the world has one unless they work for nokia or smthing...it is not in england nor in russia nor in europe
My boss has just received today 10 units. I just tested one a few hours, camera, gps while driving with the car and it's so amazing what this phone can do. Also it is so cheap...only 400 euros with warranty too. If someone wants a phone just message me.
hey guys, a question for u all, is there going to be any hidden charges, like £50 or more to update the GPS, im really intrested in this but im worried that we will get penalized for the GPS??? thanks people
couple of days charge ??? ahahaha where do u live m8 u obviosly not from this planet or ure previous phone was nokia 6310i nevertheless this phone will drain battery in one day easy with use of wi fi bt and gps ... more easy use can result in 2 days work
Got my N95 today - awesome.
Can't complain about the price either - upgrade on Vodafone. £149.99 handset - £25/month contract for 18months. 250 anytime +Stop the clock - 250 texts plus vodafone passport. They even threw in 3months free insurance.
Looking forward to playing with it. Little concerned over its battery life - expecting a couple of days charge at least but doubtful! We'll see...
Pete i would advise u cancel ur upgrade and have a little chat with them. U r definitely on the higher tier, and that is certainly not a good deal that u were offered.
They do mention that they would offer u an upgrade which is ATLEAST as good as what new customers get. U got the bare minimum!
After reading the dialogue about upgrading to this phone with O2 and the packages offered I'm a little disspaointed with my upgrade tarrif. I've ordered my N95 tho and that was free but my average spend is over £100 and my biggest bill has been just over £900, this is my fourh contract with O2 and the barely offered me anything better than if I'd just walked in off the street.
Are you insane?! Is this the best cellphone ever?! What else can beat it?! Luv NOKIA!
I can't access GPRS in Singapore. It says: "Data Packet: Connection not allowed". Does anyone experience the same problem? I have tried with 2 operators'(Singtel and Starhub) sim card and have done the respective settings. Please help.
Finally, I will get this phone tommorow afternoon. Just booking the phone coze it will be launch (1st day) at Malaysia tommorow at cost me RM3100 AVAXX Original set. Yahooo....!!!!!!!!!!11
The GPS can be used when you have 'GPS signal'. The maps can be used without any signal, but then you cannot use GPS positioning. Online info, e.g. traffic information requires GSM signal(gprs).
Excuse me! could someone tell me? Nokia n95 can use GPS when there is no service signal? thank for your answers.
Hi I just picked my phone up personally from PhoneSourceUSA.com even though they dont have pick up system I called so many times they got tired n told me to pick it up. I was wondering if anyone knows how Can I download MapS for USA. na dhow the GPS works.
thanks all, i will ring them tomorrow, i dont like having the feeling i may have been a little bit unfairly treated given my loyalty. Suzy
well that's it for me ...start a new job tomorrow...need sleep!! Lets hope we all get them on the 11th as promised...coz god help them if we don't lol!!
yeah it takes 30 days to cancel and have to do it in writing...all a bit of a kerfuffle...they generally do have the best tariffs...however I would ring tomorrow and say you're not happy...if they don't offer better then threaten to leave them. Last year i was told they didn't have any of the N80's left...told them i'd had enough of being messed about and wanted to cancel...my phone came the next day!!
as pointed out by Lyn, it certainly is worth a try. with some luck u wud b put thru to retentions.
mind u though, i was once put thru to them n the guy i spoke to flatly agreed to cancel without presenting me with O2 alternatives.
To date, am still with them. it might b worth a try calling a few times should u not b satisfied.
Suzy...hey, as far as my experience goes, and from what i was told, u can cancel yr upgrade within the 14days. at which point u also revert to the only paying yr monthly bill without being tied down to a contract.
I don't want to create a feud with O2, seen as they have been nice to me, but I, personaly, would not find this fair.
Maybe u shud have put up a stronger argument.
I would advise u to stik to O2 though, there price plan r very good compared to other providers. and their coverage. and some of the staff members ;)
