I have been a Nokia lover for as long as I can remember it may not be the best in all areas but to me Nokia makes the best all-around phones. I have used other brands including Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and many more and they CAN'T beat Nokia.

Based on my experiences with other brands that I personally owned, I now know that I will stick to Nokia and will never switch.

On the topic of the not-yet-released N95, it's funny how people always seem to get a hold of unreleased phones when the manufacturer haven't even started shipping them. I always look for these rumours from other opinionists.
The specs for the N95 is good, the only gripe is that the front camera is CIF instead of VGA, the average 3G Nokias come with a frontal VGA cam so I don't know why this higher end N95 comes with a CIF. Nevertheless, not everybody has 3G access or plans to use the feature so that isn't a reason too look past this phone.
It would have been nice if Nokia had managed to pack all these features in a non-smartphone then I would feel better; more speed, compact size, lighter weight etc. Regardless, a Nokia is a Nokia and they have proven time and time again that they are NUMBER 1 not ONLY in sales but in the telephony areas because regardless of the bells and whistles, they still remember that it's a phone and focus on the telephony aspect of their phones.

Writing from the ISLAND OF JAMAICA.

Hey guys no need to drool over this phone....there r a lot of new and feature rich model up in the sleeve..if u r missing touch screen..u sud not worry abt tht..U will get lots of surprise in coming days..btw i work as a application developer for N series..and other PDAs...have u seen a all in one device with VGA resolution as well as touch screen..I ve seen..and i also work on that...do u guys know why nokia abandoned the 416*352 resolution screen used in N80 and N90.in higher models and adhere to 320*240 ...bcoz they dont want any intermidiate device present in market while launching ...the highly advanced phone.codenamed cocoon..yet to be named(most probably it wud b name with three digits not two)...because while this wud be launched it wud be hard to provide support for the intermidiate resolutuion..if you have any query revert back

"The phone is out now in some places"

Total BS ! If it would be out now the battery would last max. 5 hours in stand-by, as the power saving system programming has just started... There's still much to do in firmware point of view anyway before Nokia can start shipping N95's out.

There are packs of 20 being sold on Ebay for as little as 2100 Eur. Please do not be fooled, they are all fraudulent sellers and will take your money. They use fake shipping companies and only accept payments through avenues such as Western Union.

Also be weary of the individual units for sale exceptionally cheap, as they're replicas with cheap components. They will fail within months of use.

The GPS function is the best, if u have a dedicated GPS device and leave it in ur car someone will break into ur car and take it.

I need WLAN. I need GPS? I need camera? I need mp3 player? I need video record...
I'm not kidding. I really do. Every day. For my work mostly. This is enough to switch me over from Windows Mobile. The hardware hasn't been improving much. I'd love pen input too, but I'll sacrifice that for these other features
