This phone is fxxk up, just bought a nokia n93 last monthe for $900, and now they fxxking release the nokia n93, how the hell can we catch that speed of new styles.

I have some comments about our discussion here. And I find some misunderstanding.
Lami said that N95 is smartphone while SE P990 is PDA pocket. According to me, both of them are smartphones (but I see that they have difference target users).
PDA phone for examples are Treo, O2 etc.
Smartphones are basically a phone plus some PDA functions, but as not complete as real PDA. Of course the PDA functions from PDA phone are more perfect because they are basically PDA plus phone function.
So the main functions are different.

I read that you wrote always that "how can we use touchscreen for typing while we are driving".I think this is misunderstanding.
Markmillan didn't say that he use touchscreen while he is driving.
Touchscreen is only an option to type sms(in this case P990),of course you can type with one hand if you use it's normal keypad.Although according to me,sms typing while driving is not wise (however you use one hand).
For so long I know, the only smartphone that must use touchscreen to type is Nokia 6708 (because the keypad function in only for numbers).
I don't know,our friends who don't like touchscreen,maybe they have bad experience with touchscreen or they never use toucshcreen. Maybe Markmillan has good experience with touchscreen. So once again this is individually taste.
Just my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong.

NOT the ultimate phone. A few flaws: a) No slide out keyboard b) Ugly fiddly buttons around the D-Pad like some of their other hard to use phoned c) 5Megepixels means nothing. I have a 2002 model 2MP Sony compact digital that will shoot better pictures thanks to it's large lens. A GPS module added to an SE P990 would be a far more exciting phone. Am sure many agree that Nokia frequently announce what appear as technically amazing phones months if not years ahead of availability, and then when you see one in the flesh, it's a big let down. The thick not so brilliant N80 is a good example. It's classic phones like the 6230i and others that are far better designed.

i still love my n93.i don't care when n95 will be in the stores.later is better for n93 users,because i want to have the top of mobile technology at least one year.look at n90,is still a great phone,and still expansive (500 euro in stores,300 euro on black market).and this after a full year of glory.no rush,i save money until that day for n95.n93 is still the best until march-april,maximum may 2007.

HI to everyone.
Once again hope that opinions will not go on judging N95 as good or bad. KNOW YOUR NEEDS AND GET THE PHONE ON NEEDS REASONS. FOr me N95.s features are superb goodly and has all the that i need, specially GPS+3G+5mpxcamera+video 30fps. how it will works, i will wait until i'll get it. i guess It will be available on march/april 07 and price around 750€.
About battery: I have now canon ixus700. good camera, battery takes around 140foto per charge. with video is less. So its only a camera, not so rich in features as N95.
IF: N95 battery will stand 220 hours, its already a lot. batterylife depends is individual and its everyone has own way how to use the it. So battery is not important, u can always charge it.
Touch screen is really unnaissesary to me, cause phones are meant to be used with one hand and touch screen can make it really difficult, i mean think u r driving and using the phone!!!
BUT Touchpad can be useful!
For me a phone combinated with 3G and GPS is a GOD. It nows every thing.
:) dont worry, GOD will forgive me saying that, Cause im talking about Nokia N 95.

Not too sure what to make out of the latest release of, what I assume to be, Nokia's top of the range phone. I was just at Nokia's Singapore website and no mention of upcoming N95. Very typical, 6-9 months hype in advance. All I can say, when everyone was waiting for the N91 release, it turned out to be an MP3. I am very tempted to buy the latest N93, but it is just a camera and video. But then again, that differences apart, all the Nokias have more or less the same apps. That's why I am still stuck with my N6670,which, save for few features here and there, essentially the same as any latest Nokia phone. (I do have the N90, N6680 & N6630 and not used them as none is significantly different from my N6670)
Anyone knows how to sum up best the N95?? If it's not a music player, not a camera and substantially different from my N6670, it will be a sure buy for me. So Mr Nokia man, don't disappoint me!!
