heheh
sir therock-If you ask me....In my case, I am just happy for them that they are satisfied with their phone,
as we are satisfied with what the n95 gives us
we really dont need to discourage them from buying Iphone as it is their choice, if they are going to be happy buying an iphone then so be it...it is what they want after all
I have no qualms against iphone as I personally only have 'tested" it...quite a good phone yes...but it really lacks alot that a 'tech geek" would crave for
so to us n95 is the best to us, just as Iphone is the best to them
as long as they are not stepping beyond the "boundary" like trolling and spamming this board(n95) about Iphone stuff... then I guess we should stay cool hehe

> In reply to Pepsi @ 2008-11-03 00:08 from v0gji disagree. this is the only phone which, after 2 years, is not yet outdated and still kicks butts. n95 even has better camera than n96 and n85. n95 also has proper 3d graphics accelerator which n95 and n85 dont have. the only letdown of this phone is the 64mb ram which is only half of the latest s60 phones' ram, and the poor sliding mechanism. but feature-wise, this phone is still up to date. i mean, if i have n95 and i'm a practical person, i will not buy a n82, n85 or n96, for an upgrade becos those phones dont offer so much more of what n95 already has. in comparison to n95, n82 only has xenon flash, n85 has oled screen & fm transmitter, and n96 has dvb-h and 16gb. those things are not worth upgrading for from n95. only very rich and wasteful people change phones every 6 months or so even if they dont get so much more from their new phones.

carloud, daniel, and the n95 users.
Do you ever go the the apple forum to read what iphone users have to say about the n-series or the nokia phones?
i find it interesting that the iphone users claim that it is the best advance phone, yet it is not due to missing features especially the lowgrade camera (not even a flash is included). Apple may have revolutionized the touchscreen part, but Apple is still a baby on making cell phones. I guess their lack of intelligence is making them suckers to buy the iphone and to even claim that the iphone is the BEST phone. They are also saying that the giants of cell phone makers such as nokia, samsung, LG, HTC....etc...copied Apple.
To Pepsi,
the price of the n95 is worth it. Sure, it is D-pad but worth more than the iphone. Watch out!!...because I know the nokia n-series line up will have a touchscreen.

i was at a halloween party in a club on halloween night. my friends either have iphones or blackberries. the lack of camera flash on the iphone and the lack of a powerful flash on the blackberry made those phones useless on taking pictures in dimmed places. they had to carry cameras to take pics.
i busted out my n95 to take pics. a question mark on their faces on the device i was holding occured instantly..is it a camera or a phone?..what is it?
this "outdated" device you claimed still kicks ass. the iphone is by far centuries behind on its camera.
if you smell what the rock is cooking!!

> In reply to luisito @ 2008-11-03 05:27 from LrLFchange the product code and try an update again. v30 firmware has built in screen rotate based on phone orientation. Still slow to take pics (slow to focus, add to that if you save pics to memory card. i save it to phone memory then just transfer afterwards. makes the prompt processing image go away much faster.) no shutter click? silent mode does that, doesn't it?

never had a phone stolen from me (knock on wood) and i've been using a mobile phone since '96. Guess it's just plain dumb luck for some, or some are just plain dumb.

In a few months many new phones will be released for the same price as this one is now, many people don't even stock this version its so incredibly "old" in the phone world. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.

When these came out I heard about so many problems with the firmware and the phone itself. Now that I've owned one, my opinion has changed. This simply is the best phone out on the market. The N96 is supposed to be the "replacement" handset, but it will never hold a candle to the original...
This is simply the best phone out today and it's been around for a few years.
