I've been using nokia n95 8gb for the past 6 months. Its the best phone i've ever owned. No problems so far and this is the beast in terms of features. Battery life is also very good...lasts me 2 days. My only gripe will be its built-quality....it just looks plasticy and cheap for 600dl phone.
I am thinking of selling this and get HTC HD. Only reason I want is its huge touch screen. It also has great specs and reviews in internet. But i dont know if it is smart decision to go with htc. Anybody own htc hd???
After watching an episode of steve litchfield's show when he referred the N95 8gb as 'Best smartphone ever made'....that made my day.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I’d definitely recommend both the N82 and N95 8gb…..i had the same problem trying to find a new nokia smartphone….but after some serious research….i knew I had to get the N95 8gb. The 5800 is very pricey at the moment. The N85 has an awesome screen and brings some new features but it might be a regret getting it considering the build quality and stability of the phone though it betters the appalling plastic of the N96. So only the two phones, N82 and N95 8gb, are worth getting. Both have Dual CPU and 3D processor, very stable UI especially with firmware v.30, brilliant camera producing pictures better than the other two phones, MUCH better build quality. But when picking either the N95 8gb or N82…its your choice. A person might prefer the N82 for its smaller size, tough candybar form factor, cheaper price and xenon flash. While the N95 8gb has the huge screen, better keypad, dual slide form factor and 8gb built-in memory. I guarantee that both choices are ones you won’t regret. I’ve been hearing bad feedback from N85 and N96….and some have returned it to get the N95 8gb. So im sure you wont get disappointed.
I have nokia n95 version v2.0220.127.116.11 rm-133. Can somebody send me a link for lastest firmware and software for flash files??
Thank you very much.
N95 users!!! Have you tried playing mpeg or mpg videos on it? It beats even the pc in terms of quality!!! Wow!!! I really like my N95 8gb. So many useful software i installed, nAlert Me is one of the coolest!!! Even my friends were amazed on the softwares i have on my phone!!!
Gps Sucks, 19 Nov 2008N95 8GB GPPS 1 out of 10GPPS? Duh ! The gps ,I rate 10 out of 10! I don't have a problem getting a fix, and i don't even have assisted gps. I have the n95-1 !
Hi to all N95 8gb users.. i'm from Philippines and i got this great piece of nokia since april 2008.. up to now i had no problem in using this phone.. Great performance.. all i can say is that " i'm proud to an N95 8gb user"
I bouth it about 15 days ago! The performance is simply superb..though made in china..but so far i don't feel any problem ...only the camera...it requires good lighting to have a quality picture...
If you are on three and you want to get a N95 Vigin mobile duz it still work with a 3 Sim card coz it is 3g after all im hust wondering. Thank Sarah THE N95`S ROCK!!!!
well said chu, i agree.
i have researched several phones intensively and found that overall n95 8gb with firmware 30.0.018 is the best, including n96, n82, innov8, and several others
thank you and goodnight.....
Got it a few weeks ago! And so far, its amazing....huge 2.8 inch screen, awesome 5 megapixel camera and DVD recording, loud stereo speakers, huge memory...the list goes on and on...but i obviously enjoy downloading apps and games...especially the Ngage ones. And my firmware is the latest~ v.30.0.018....auto rotation is built in and the UI is really stable. This phone's a real step up from my previous n93i. Im really pleased i got this phone instead of the new nokias availible such as the n96 or n85....this feels better built and so far, this is the best smartphone ever built...so be proud fellow n95 8gb users! Sorry n96-ers, but the n95 8gb is obviously the BETTER one.
