Nokia N95 8GB slider mechanism is actualy significantly better than the "usual" Nokia N95 slider mechanism.

/ I have tested N95 8GB ("not for sale" version though)

Got the N73, worst fone i ever owned. Keeps hanging and takes ages to send a message. so is the n95 any better or this just a nokia or n series problem?

Ah as long as it's Nokia's slide phone, it suck. The slide would get stickier after some times. Samsung still has the best sliding mechanisms

guys talking about the short battery stay, i want to ask on what basis, if you keep playing music, internet surfing, messaging, and calls continuous for 5-6 hours, thats what is written on the box. it you use your phone reasonably, for me, it can last 2 days. quite decent.

Ok guys,
if I would use this phone, without GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, Edge, 3G, etc... (all those options would be always off).

If I would use it without: playing games, listening to music, watching movies, using the camera, etc...

If I would use it only for phoning and texting (not more than 25min of phoning and not more than 15 written, and about 35 received sms), could the battery last for 36 hours?

me sees the multimedia-stuffing approach is in its last stages& (hopefully) making way (gratefuly) to software/connectivity betterment; google's announcement's indicative. As per the flip side of the issue>> They'll figure out battery life about when they solve emissions. (no time soon) sorry. Just my lil' persp.

I hope this will help. I already read a lot of reviews and YouTube videos regarding N95 Classic and N95 8GB comparison but I will still stick to my own N95 Classic. I still want the technical specs specially the lens cover w/c brings like u own a Camera. Here in the Philippines, Filipinos always like hip phones thats why I decided to purchase N95. But when N95 8GB is out of the market, I decided not to buy it because it is still the same thing as the classic. Only the battery and memory. I'll just buy an IPoD and always bring my charger. Kinda crazy but it really works for me.

To william, hey buddy you want to have 200gb or something? Maybe you're a movie keeper or you live with 3,000,000 mp3s...

Come back to EARTH!!! in the last decade you could only TALK, now you can do almost everything on a mobile phone. You want 200gb with life time battery? This is so ridiculous.

No offence, but your suggestion is kind of STUPID. If what you want is produced, then all the PC manufacturers will KILL you.
