Remember, two rights does not solve a wrong!
Upping the battery life AND the specs all at the cost of losing both the memory card slot and camera lens only made the phone drop in quality.
-No camera lens brings on long term problems.
-No hotswap/memory card slot makes inconveniences more inconvenient.
-Having the phone run more capable with a small upgrade of the battery doesn't solve the problem of the under expectancy of everyday usage. If 1 - 1 was 0 then why would they do 2 - 2? Would've been better if it was 2 - 1, cause then you'd at least still have 1.

Baah, still no touch screen then? Stupid Nokia, making the same phone but just add more memory. If all I want is more memory I can buy a NEW MEMORY CARD, not a whole new phone for god's sake.
This phone is a rip-off.

- Why no touch screen
- Report
Well, here is why. Nokia engineer believe that a phone should be handle with one hand. That is all to it. If you want a touch screen Iphone is already doing a good job at that, why don't you buy a Iphone. But Nokia believe that a phone should be handle with one hand and that is that, otherwise they would state on making a Nokia PDA N95 8gb, but they didn't so too bad

Man, why Nokia just improved the battery and memory. This phone would be greater if it has a touch screen just like the Apple i phone. I think Nokia Engineer make a big mistake by repeating the N 95 or they are just simply lazy to work on the touch screen.

UI & for factor from Apple added next to all the bells & whistles from Nokia would make the perfect phone for me. Throw in SE's Xenon. Shame Nokia didn't include a lens cover for this one. I may just get the original just for that and the expandable memory slot. If you want a touchscreen Nokia, just wait for this-

i own the normal version and i notice that there is not memory swap on the new version but why the hell do we care about that since it is 8gb. Oh yeah about that guy asking question about sound quality. Its sound good enought to say DAMN it loud and it awesome. About if the screen get scratch, well if you care for it that much buy the original case for it and your phone is 99% damage proof. If you like feature, then this phone rock!!! but if you like fancy phone with cool touchscreen THEN GET A DAMN IPHONE. I prefer a non touch screen since touch screen phone is very annoying to me. Overall, This phone rock big time and if you still talking about some other phone with clear sound and touchscreen then go look for another phone that meet your criteria and bla bla bla over there about it.

Still I am mixed up which getting the decision of buying N95 8gb or W960, both of them are great! I am a SE fan and using K810 and W610! Can't wait to get my hands on them!!!!

damn it!!!
first it gets all our attention n now it has like a new prob, itself... evn after it was assumed by us tht it wouldnt hav all the "probs" the original one had...they got a better battery, fixed the slider bla bla bla...but how come they forgot the lens cover???? i know they had to make space for the bigger battery...but couldnt they juz put it like smhow???...i guess they r smart enough to do tht...i mean c'mon guyz...a single scratch is gonna spoil the whole point of puttin such a nice camera on the device...i think a 2/3.2mp camera wth a lens cover is better thn a 5mp camera, without it...sorry to say but its really wat i believe...

No, I don't think this is for the US.
I mean, the US version already came out with 3G Triband already, and that's V1.5 (First release, just with HSDPA 850/1900, camera lens and card slot).

One back fall of Nokia, dust/grime and misc get into the phone, especially whenever you're opening it and closing it often, or there is a way for dust to enter and settle down. Without the lens cover, then this problem will pull the quality of the camera down.
I've seen on the site that they're tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, but many people in their reviews and contacts are saying it's only 2100UMTS. Anyone able to confirm which bands it runs HSDPA on?

Nokia always seems to cover their bases when it comes to 3G, WiFi, music player, FM tuner, digi cam, vid cam, games, reception, etc. Every practical feature, they rank in the top 3 at it. Other companies might have 1 or 2 critical features missing. Once it has Xenon flash, it's all over for SE atop cam phones. Nokia will get bigger at being #1 here in Los Angeles when L.A. Live opens up. The N95 set is the prototype for all future phones to come...
