with all this amazing coments i've been reading about this magnificent phone ,yall just made me more and more curoius to lay my hands on my yet-to-be-mine masterpiece.
N95 8GB release date is start of November in Australia. Have heard really good things about the phone, althought they do have some software problems. Probably leaning more towards the Sony Eric K850i, as it also has a 5mp camera, and is probably a better phone overall
Software crashes every now and then esp when that important call is due. Contacts dont register when incoming call or text. Task manager not very good. Satnav nowhere close to expectations. Good Mp3 player but buttons very tempremetal.Overall good features but overhyped as Nokia software is prob the worst.
People keep saying how disappointing this phone is as it has only improved marginally from its predecessor, but for those who don't have the N95 and are looking for a decent new phone it sounds pretty good with its 8GB capacity. Has anyone found a price and/or release date for Australia?
I wonder how long will it take to have it available to work well in the US?
I think this phone is great....but like all mobile phones, it's bound to get old. Remember the first Nokia phone capable of recording videos? It was the hippest phone of its time. Now, I can't remember its name. I tought about this and I think I'll get this phone ONLY if the price is worth the gadget itself. If it's the same as the original, then probably I'll get the original. What really got me thinking about the N95 8gb is the black color. I love gadgets in black. The heck with the memory, I got a laptop. The heck with games, I got a psp. The heck with the 5mp camera with vga video recording....oooh, wait, what am I saying?! Well, that's just my opinion. Is it true that the N95 8gb will come out 2nd week of October? I'm from the Philippines, by the way.
I have N95 and i like phones with many features and Nokia is good in that, but this phone is in many ways like a toy. Why?! dont wonder, i'll tell u: it has a 5mp camera but still in that level "useless as a digital camera", camcorder is better than in many phones but still away from the "normal usage", Gps is not sirfIII "unpractical and expansive" games will never be a psp, music will never replace a real mp3. So its phone with a little something from the real products, ITS A TOY.
those waitin for this why not wait a little longer nokia are bound to pop out wid sumat better maybe one wid a card slot and 8gb internal memory who knows nokia rules
This mobile is off the HOOK, Nokia are certainely leading the phone market with this model and theres me thinking sony erricsson was the best!!! carnt wait to get this.
Sony Ericsson W850i
is very similar to this N95 8GB
same colour ,same slide, even the W850i memory goes up to 8GB expandable
so basically i think this N95 8GB is Judged by the W850i
I have check this phone it's really great phone 8GB is enough memory and also 5MP is very good. I really want to say taht nokia is the leader in mobile phone companies.
i like this phone however it does not help our global warming situation we as australians need to come together on this issue where the coalition just sit on there hands and arent recognizing this as a serious problem this is not a political advertisement or in any way a quick fix this will take time and the n95 possibly cannot help with this
design of this phone is bad. n95 is a big phone. i dont like it.
so is sony&ericsson p1.
ugly phones everywhere .
motorola phones are well designed but lack of good features.
