Is obviously that people doesn't know that Nokia N96 is in two type, And when they buy the fake ones they will express dissatisfaction..i have gotten this fake one befor and it has almost everything just like the real one: 16Gb, 5.0 mp cameral, dstv, tv out cable,..it will be had for you to notice if you are not into phone business, i will give just two tip for you to know the original one
1: check the software version, it must be 11.043 or 12.043 or 10.043 but the fake is always 30.0000 or 32. Any Nokia N96 software version that starts with 30,29,32 or 33 is fake, i mean ''software version'' not the software version date or custom versio, and the manufacture date must be 2008 not 2010 or 2009, 2011.. i used both n96 and n86..though the n96 has 16 gb internal memory,larger keypad and gorgious look, i thik the n86 is bettar than the n96..becoz n86 has 8mp cam with a cover, a bettar battery 1200mah,a faster processor and a different look..but the n96 has a lower cam 5mp,a low duty 900mah and there is no cam lens cover....n86 is the best...

if your front camera is not working or u did not see it under camera option that means you have change your flex and most new flex did not come with front camera its only rubber that is there so the camera option in the phone will disapper.

please i just want to give a little contribution and advice,i dont know if you will still want to produce another one of n96 for you to please make this one smarther and lighter and for it to have a wider screen and computer buttons and give it a stronger battery and a very strong network.i believe if it should be like that it would be more better and dont make the price very costly for customers i believe people will see and appreciate it and you will make alot of sales on it i bet you.

my n96 nokia is so slow!when press camera button it stuck up and its call speaker is not working properly on top of that keypads tends to jam

Hi don't blame nokia N96 for shot life spam of the battery,nokia N96 carry out a lot of activities as a result of that it reduce the life spam of the battery.Please u have to read the full phone specification and see the feature about what its carrying.Anyway to make your battery last for you at least 4 to 5 days,read my users opinion in this site as nokia fans.By doing so you will enjoy the full benefit of your nokia N96 battery.Thanks to nokia

I have discovered some secrete that make nokia N96 battery to run down quickly,they are:1 when the 3G network is on,2 viberating when ringing,3 slide sound,4Running application.5 when your bluetooth is on. To solve this problem,change your network from 3G or dual mode to GSM network because 3G network draw a lot of power from battery to carry up its activity.2 remove from viberation.3 off the sound of the slide.4 always check your menu if there is any running application.5 Always off your bluetooth.By doing so,your battery will last longer.

I recently updated my N96 to V 30.033 and after updating both primary as well as secondary cameras are not working :(

nokia n96 is a good phone but there is some problems
1-the camera
2-the phone is slow
3-the CPU has been tripped up
