All are telling that it would be in indian market on spt 1 bt nw they hav delayed to sept 15. Neways there not a much difference in n82 and n96 bt n96 is proving to be the costliest n-series mobile.any ideas that the how much rate would be in india

Iv always purchased phones that way......its 50-60% cheeper than service providers.....

A powerful 8megapixel KING will Rise to the ocassion & obliterate the competion it will be called ...N ... shhh!Everyone believes tht the prince N96 is the new crowned KING for NOKIA bt i predict differently... N96 is only the begining of the Ultra supreme N-series Line up along with its lastest siblins The Majestic N85 the fashion savy N79

Shame on nokia. They are making some very questionable marketing decisions. First off they overpricing the N96, that in essence has no real substantial evidence to justify cost. The only significant thing about this phone is the platform in which the os is ran on. Furthermore, they issue numerous devices that are equivalent with one another in terms of specifications. The nseries use to be the series of innovation, however nokia puts unjustafiable pricing on their devices and saturate their own brand. This form of phsycological pricing futher confuses the consumer on a sense of "value" when conserning the phones in which they advertise. Hopefully the get it together because they appear more in competition with themselves.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-09-01 23:31 from 0FhGNo this device doesn't have a Xenon flash. It has a dual led instead. Which is unfortunate considering the $900 price tag.

I work for KPN in the Netherlands,
We have the world wide exclusive on 15 september.

Maybe it's already available on nokia, but I havent found that yet!

In NL the N96 is €32,50 for 2 years with 250 free minutes, with free television 10 channels with €9,95 for unlimited online.

The N96 is €99,- with this offer.

it has loads of features that was great but do u think the battery life is enought???
even then, i still like it...
just buy an extra battery, the best solution... right?

> In reply to lee @ 2008-08-30 22:45 from SgvYIm guessing you work for Voda (i also used to) Is the price for this deff gonna be around £250.00 on a £35 contract? If so i can't see the logic in paying so much for this. Has there been any talk of the N85 yet as i am thinking of waiting for this to come out instead. Has there been any mention of the cost of this on a £35 contract.
