However, i haven't taken that many photos, maybe only 50... As far as i am aware, if you take your phone to a nokia care point centre, they will replace lens for free as nokia have acknowledged this design flaw. I wouldn't recommend removing the lens cover because if you try to alter the phone it might void the warranty. Go to nokia first.

I have brought this phone on wednesday (5 days old) already on my second and yes this one is stuffed 2! I really really would recommend everyone to try other options b4 this handset!

Swipe the arrow in that direction.Left to right. That is the only way to answer the phone when it is lock.When you hang up, the phone remain lock! I´m sure you will love this feature once you learn to use it.

the best mobile phone upto now..by nokia...

my oh my, just as i was about to confine my N97 to being the charger phone for my E72 (same batteries duh), i reinstalled ver 20 and lo! became functional. one gripe though, those who designed and approved that 70mb is nuf c: memory ought to be fired! nokia, are you listening?

best fone for me .. love the ovi store and the wifi .. lolz... love the 32gb and the 16gb of external ... just like pc... u can even download a movie and a video clips from the internet

Is there anyone who has not experienced camera lens scratch or if the lens scratch is avoidable by true maintenance or not? Does Nokia fix the scratch? What about removing lens cover totally or partly?

Do you really recommend to do a hard reset?
hmmmm...maybe I should do it also on my 5800 if it will improved the performance?! I updated the FW last month but I didn't reset it. what ya think?

after months of thinking, i bought N97 white last night despite of negative reviews. I think it depends on how you take care of your phone. I have N82, N95 8GB, N85 and 5800. All I can say is.... thumbs up! I have read lots of bad reviews with those phones but I never experienced those problems. Just waiting for my phone to be delivered next week.

What people like about n97 are
tilt design and qwerty and touch screen
what people hate about n97 are
128ram ( it is apparently working fine with music playing, web browser running and nimbuzz running at the same time, why open so many apps? Tips are install apps like Swiss maanger pro /handy taskman to kills all open apps with one click, don't put widget on homescreen, my suggestion is to put two icon shortcut bars, music player, two/one contact bar, avoid running apps in the background) close app the right way! Buy mugen 1800mah battery which last you 17hours for heavy users
434mhz CPU( so what, as long as it is not painfully slow)
the real issues is the camera Len and gps, but it is recognized by nokia, it mean that you can have it replaced for free!
