the nokia N96 failed very badly it was rubbish, but it seems the nokia n97 is good but another big problem is it's going to cost a small fortune i've heard near to $1000-US. my opinion that's disgusting price we're meant to be in a credit crunch and rescession. but they seem to charge fortunes for these mobile devices i've never known so many phones before in the shops so many to choose from these days it's crazy it seems everyone goes crazy over mobile phones. they haven't got anything else better to do with their lifes they would rather pay out crazy amounts of money for mobile phones that does nothing but just stupid gadgets on the phones you're all better off staying away from these things because you guys talk crazy and go off to a dream world
hello every body outthere!!!!!
at present we have xperia, omnia, and HD, which are kings. while this N97 which u people are calling a king will be midrange in june 2009. because in february their is gonna held the mobile mania in barcelona, which will reveal the kings from SE, S-Sung. and that will knock-out this "memory-king"
This thing isn't a phone. It's a multi-media micro-PC! LOL! By the way, I likes it! :)
Nokia N97 again the most wanttttttttted
The king is back with thoch screen mobile thet have evry thing as best
WOW nice gadget from Nokia ,it is a phone that put Nokia above the others. Cool internal memory and a wonderful key pad
Looks like an awesome phone I can't wait to get this phone. Nice memory 32gb who would have thought.
Anonymous, 02 Dec 2008MAJOR goof-ups from Nokia: 1. The joystick/d-pad on the keyboard is on the left side. What ... moremaybe they are trying to make it easy to play games as most game controllers have the joystick on left side?
I hope it has a decent processor, cause in one of the vidoes it shows some screen-tearing. (Hope its a 500mhz + one....)- No point in having such an awesome gadget if its gonna bore u to death after the 32gb (or 32+16=48GB) gets filled up :)
Still though, nokia just took things to a whole new level :P
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i totally agree with you...if this cost $1000us i wouldnt think twice...just as long as nokia dont kill any specs thats already there..
why always comparing any Nokia with the iPhone. Can't you see this phone is inspired by the iPhone. Infact Iphone has set the trend for this type of phone. Look around you will see presently every makes is copying on the iPhone. For instance look at HTC HD,SAMSUNG Omnia,SE Xpera,LG and now NOKIA N97. Therefore friends try to be honest and objective. May be the iPhone lacks some features but still it's the best phone available.
This Device Wont be the Fastest mobile Like N95 8gb
why? Cause of the touch screen...............
It'll take about all the two cores proccessor usage and nothing is going left for anything exept some internet
I Hope i am right to write that and for those who dont beleave plz just wait to see yourself screaming from maddness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAJOR goof-ups from Nokia:
1. The joystick/d-pad on the keyboard is on the left side. What a dumb move! Anyone who's used the E90 or the Communicators will know what I'm talking about.
2. Tiny space bar in the bottom-right corner. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Nokia?!?
3. Where's the app store?? Nokia can't expect this device to take on the might of Apple and the iPhone with something that doesn't have a dedicated app store.
4. The N97 does not seem to have the latest iteration of Nokia Maps (v3.0).
5. No mention of a dedicated graphics chip. Has Nokia killed the N95's line of successors?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Just tell me... Why should I get an X1 or an Iphone when this is as you said is both of them... WHY should I a CONSUMER care who thought about it first... all that the COSTUMER cares about is whitch on is the BEST one... So the Iphone is the same thing but with leck of many features and qwerty but experia is the same thing but with smaller screen, not as good camera, and WM... The only phone that is known right now and has attleast one better feature is HTC Touch HD, with a 3.8 screen and 800' resolution... But this phone does not run WM (and thats a +), it has built in memory of 32GB + un to 16 on a card witch non of the phones that I know of have... And it has a qwerty... it probobly will be the most comfortable qwerty, because of the size. The only drawback is the thikness... but concidering the full qwerty the thikness is something you cant avoid...
Comapered to other phones:
IPhone-... limited functions, only 2mp camera with no video... no qwerty...
X1-smaller screen, 3.2mp camera... WM
OMNIA- smaller screen, WM, no qwerty.
HD- Bigger screen, no flash on camera, WM, no qwerty.
Its a really nice phone... Best in my opinion.. too bad I have to get a new phone attleast before the beginning of march... if not I would wait for this phone, but right now I will buy myself a HTC Touch HD.
