Miriam Cruz, 15 Mar 2010Thanks, but fyi I only use 4 GB but still it's so slowww4GB? Then you are talking abt mass memory and not phone memory.
Anonymous, 11 Mar 2010Hi does anyone know if N97 comes with a stylusit should be having one but for exemple i didnt get one so its prety anoying.
Its a great phone could be better for the price but still good.
I have some craches close to the lens and it came from small stones that get stuck .
Miriam Cruz, 15 Mar 2010Thanks, but fyi I only use 4 GB but still it's so slowwwyou better hard reset your phone...and dont forget to update the firmware...then your phone will be ok...mine works fine..
Amir, 15 Mar 2010I bought mine (which is made in China) for US80, i would like to ask everyone opinion about th... moreabout that china version, pliz anit worthy yhe money coz of the battery n other functions that the original nokia offers
i had a question.
i'm stuck between [getting] the Nokia N97 in white, and getting it in black.
i read about some problems with the camera-lens cover, that it "scratches the lens". i read that this happened to some [older] batches[/releases] of the phone, and i'm guessing that by now that issue has been fixed, since i'm no longer reading complaints about it (or about anything else, for that matter).
but i'm wondering if this is a case like in the case of the Xperia X1, where the "silver"-colored Xperia X1 had problems of "cracks appearing in the case for no reason at all, all of a sudden", but the "black"-colored Xperia X1 DIDN'T have those problems. and, if you get the "black"-colored one instead of the "silver"-colored one, you avoid those problems.
i'm wondering if that's the case here with the Nokia N97, that if you get one color you avoid having the "scratched lens" problem but if you get it in the other color you have the "scratched lens" problem. or if by now, the issue has been fixed, and no matter what color you choose, you have no problems whatsoever [with the phone].
that and, i've found that white-colored products tend to show their "bruises" and stains and marks of wear and tear and use, much faster and easier than black-colored products (black scratch-marks on white-colored plastics and metals, you know what i mean?)
kjsre, 15 Mar 2010Hi all, if i use the Ovi map on my N97 offline, will gps data apply?Yes, it works offline and so you dont need any data plan
i tend to disagree with all of you that are complaining... have had mine for quite a while now and it is the best phone... has given me no problem what so ever... love it... so to all the people who are comparing their iphones to this phone, go do it on ur so called "amazing" phones page...
the internal speakers is very very disappointing... -_-"
How come can nokia call this its flagship phone
My current e90 (the n97 belongs to my mom) and my bro n81 speakers are much much much better
Its a shame
vish, 10 Mar 2010update your firmware to the latest and always have atleast 25MB free memory in C: drive...Thanks, but fyi I only use 4 GB but still it's so slowww
At first it seems there is no problem on this phone but when I load it with songs and videos ( not really of big memory ) that where problem started. Especially the song files, after adding some, refreshing the song, some files are missing, and the battery life is so short when you use it as your music player.
If you are a music buff, buy a lower model and buy yourself a seperate music player, this phone is not a reliable hi-end CP, use it on the basics its OK, use it with its feature = PROBLEM!
