If I download the gameloft free games, my phone will have issues. I cant install windows live for some reason.

And now, all apps in the ovi store will destroy my phone. Goodbye Ovi Store.

PS: How do I re-install the Ovi Store (not that I will use it ever again)

> In reply to Mr Flores@Indonesia @ 2009-11-24 16:58 from txG5Many people recommend hard resetting before updating firmware, but it's not necessary. Your phone shouldn't be any worse off if you don't reset. Can you update to the latest firmware v20? It has stabilised the phone, and it handles a lot better.

> In reply to Mr Flores@Indonesia @ 2009-11-24 16:58 from txG5Hard resetting isn't necessary for a firmware update, but many people recommend doing this, for what reason I don't quite know. But if you don't hard reset before updating, your phone should be fine. Update to firmware v20 if you can - the phone is much stable with this, and handles better.

> In reply to Chris_Skylock @ 2009-11-24 15:01 from t7GZTry to update/re-install your Ovi Application...If that doesn't work, I recommend re-installing the firmware (if it's up-to-date)

Got N85, N95 8Gb, Samsung i900 omnia, and N97. All works fine since i first bought them, except for this tricky N97.. Good looking, cost much money, but w/ dozens of bugs as a bonus, maybe... its my 1st bad experience w/ the N-series. Glad i'm not depend to this one 4 my activities. The other 3 devices that i have are working much better in every way. So i just use this one only to look 'cool'.. :D

PS: Already upgraded to V12, but hasn't try to hard reset it. Does the uograde take effect even without hard reset? I only restart it after upgrading

Apple's Share of Worldwide Smartphone Ad Requests Hits 50%
Monday November 23, 2009 04:08 PM EST; Category: iPhone
Written by Eric Slivka
Mobile advertising firm AdMob today released its October 2009 Mobile Metrics Report, detailing the devices and platforms requesting ads from its network. While much of this month's report focuses on the breakdown of devices using Research in Motion and Android devices, one interesting tidbit revealed in the data is that Apple has finally reached a 50% share of the global smartphone ad request market.

Had it for 2 days and it's really great. Everything works brilliantly with just a few exceptions. The earphones suck, but that's to be expected, the fm transmitter has quite a small effective radius, the gps gets a lock on satellites kinda slowly and the keyboard could be a bit more ergonomic. All in all it beats everything else i've tried in this price range, including iPhone (no multitasking, no card slot, etc) and HTC Touch Pro 2. Symbian touch is pretty damn good actually, especially when coming from a long line of Nokias like me. If you can get it for under 450 euros it's totally worth it.

> In reply to [deleted post]I would recommend the Nokia N97 for online activities as it's the sole purpose of the Nokia N97. But problems will arise as you use the phone.

Me? I cant log in into my Ovi Store account as it will cause some problems on my phone

When sending voice messages can you include a text as well?
Is there a photo editing applications included out of the box?

checked the n97 and n97 mini at the mall this morning and i think n97 mini is better aside from the 32gb internal memory.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-11-24 10:56 from u73BYes this worked fine for me. I didn't have time to download the whole file, but I downloaded part of it and was able to play the audio fine (I couldn't tell if there was a video as well?). I downloaded about 8mb of it before I needed to go, but no reason why the rest of it wouldn't have loaded perfectly. Just to clarify, when you download video/audio files from the phone, you are able to play it as it's downloading (only partially of course, until it finishes downloading). So it does work.

> In reply to Chris_Skylock @ 2009-11-24 10:42 from t7GZThat's very strange that it's the Ovi store that's screwing up your phone. Weird. You're right - I think only the Nokia people can help you now. Good luck.
