Can anybody advise why Nokia or SE not introducing dual sim cards phones?????
It's said Pocket Office (Word, Excell, PDF) VIEWER on specification list by GSM ARena. Does anybody know whether N97 can do Office EDITOR or not?
A lot of people are complaining about the processor speed. But I think it's a balance between speed and battery life. With all the online widgets, Nokia needs to save battery elsewhere. However, newer technology does seem to offer better efficiency in terms of power consumption... hard to argue.
It's also funny how in the Nokia video of the N97, they seem to have made the ability to move the location of the home screen widgets the most matter of fact thing, as if it's something so revolutionary. They focus on that more than the actual functions of these widgets. I find that pretty funny yet stupid.
As for lack of xenon, yeah, it does suck. But with the size of the module, you can probably only get a candybar (which, you will complain yet again). Well, it fits in an IDOU though... hmm...
I don't understand why do people say that only SE and Samsung can make good 12MP camera phones. All manufacturers simply purchase those modules and integrate into their design. They don't make these modules. If you go to an electronic surplus store, you see those cheap camera modules, that's what's used in our "high-end" phones.
thumbs up for this stuff. btw, there must be higher pixel for the camera, touchscreen? will be much better to release the black one, must be cool!
Palm pre is not bad, will new iPhone learn from it's mistakes? Will n98 be capacitive? !!!!!
I don't care
the lack of gpu and faster CPU( battery power last longer)
I care about
the 128 ram
Can someone convince me to buy this? Should I waitfor new iPhone or n98
Are the ozone web browser and skyfire java based appli ation?????
I care about
i think that the home screen is too full,on the nokia 5800 xm is the home screen just perfect, but on the n97 is the home screen too full of things.
I think this is a beautiful phone. I will most certainly get it. I love practically every thing about it; the screen, the Qwerty keyboard, the look, the functionality and lets not forget the color! Though an 8mp camera would have been better, I still love it more than any other, available or discontinued.
This is gonna be the sick!
I fill up memory easy, had an N96 and filled that up no problem, it became slow, unresponsive and crashed. rubbish processor! This has double the memory, a touch screen interface that will rely heavily on graphics with only a little improvement on the processor.... I can see this doing even worse than the N96, how much i want a GOOD phone with an FM Transmitter!!!!! at least i get 32Gb AND the Memory card slot :))))))))))
What impresses me a lot is the design, hope apple copy and improve the design of iPhone
Removable battery, qwerty,
This phone could be more cheaper, if nokia release 8G 16 g
Not everyone like 32g
And when nokia release capacitive screen? Time to care about non Asian market!! Go capacitive after n97 nokia !
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2009I still dont think thats would be as good as iphone money and quality wise.. nokia always test... moreI bought my n95 8gb 6 months ago. It was also my dreamphone. At first I was dissapointed but once i started to discover all the goodies inside i consider it is probably the best phone outthere. Iphone is a waste of money, big touchscreen and that's about it.
PS:search on the web-you cand find applications that can make the n95 do allmost anything, nomatter how borring it is at first.
It has more ram than a nintendo wii and symbian os uses less ram than winmo or iphone os anyway so its more than enough. I'd also like 2 say what are iphone fans doing here. This is an n97 forum. Take ur comments to the relevan forum please. Its like an 18yr old walkin in to a 21 and over club! You're not wanted
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2009434mhz processor?????... yeah... its going to be wery slow..... with the new symbian os it sho... moreHow many times do i have to tell you people that you tube clips don't show it as being slow at all. Put in a stronger processor and you'll drain more juice from the battery.
hmmm... Ram is for temporary storage only. Not for permanant storage. Non of those hp are loading a windows vista which is required 2gb ram. So 128mb is enough. If the phone can do more multitasks, then it required more ram. Eg, download + browsing + documenting + faxing at same time. In this case higher cpu speed and higher internet speed that ur telco can give is needed
