the speed 3g(umts) browsing should be increased like htctouch pro2- 7.2mbps , whereas n97 -3.6mbps only.(only one -ve point)

Na wa oh!!!!!! For real, this phone is da BOMB!!!
But I think it would had been much better with an increased camera pixel

This phone appears to going the way of the SE P990. If they wait too long to actually come out with this phone it will not be as exciting.

the desing is great but it would be better if the camera was 8 or more megapixel cause n95 was 5 megapixel too and the camera have to be more than that

Even though Nokia Sucked @ the MWC 2k9 there is just something that makes me believe that they can do it, that i can trust them to do it and that i can rely on them so all eyes on nokia lets see how they will amaze the audience next (after N97 ... N86 8MP wasnt anything new) ... continuing to connect ppl.!

Hmmm lotsa memory.But how fast can it retrieve that memory?N96 takes a while to get into playlist,gallery,ect and thats but 16MB. But so what,its a nok nok and itz hot.When wil it cum to South Africa?I wana buy 1 for Nelson mandela

I was watching MWC 2009 Barcelona last night on youtube,the review on the new nokia n97 and I was surprise.Nokia have make a super mini computer.If anyone of you out there have seen the video demo and seen the prototype on youtube you will see the differents,watch it and you know what I mean.What you see on the demo,is what you will see now.Its amazing what n97 can do,its auto rotation turns alittle slow but its turns without switching off like the omnia.Every selected touch you will see a little ripple.nokia n97 UI and touch interfaces is really amzing and I can wait to have it in my hands.
For those who still prefer iphone or other touch phone please continue to use them,if you thing that nokia n97 is not your type.Please keep your bad comments to yourselfs and allow others to enjoy their phones.
All mobiles phone of differnt companies have the weakness n differences n purpose too.If you can live with it,but it and if not don't.Thank You

Hats Off To Nokia For this one of a kind design. stepping out of the n81 inspired designs that nokia has been using with their N series so far but N97 has great features and fantastic design. And for the QWERTY ITS Ooooooo Laaa Laaaaa. And Now That Nokia Is Into Touch Screen Phones Samsung And especially LG Should Better Step Up Their Game.

Hello all,

I am a bit of a simpleton, so can the answer be kept basic!

Can I download any softwear on the N97 ie (google maps, yahoo go, wigets) and use it? I have had HTC phones for a few years, but its quite slow on the multimeadia side, but it lets me down down anything and use anything. if I can do that with the N97 it would be grate. The phone looks excellent with super spec's...
