Nokia uses Texas Instruments OMAP processors, A8 369Mhz is the most common one.

They haven't been made yet.

ST-Ericsson demonstrated a proof of concept based on the Arm cortex A9 at Barcelona at an invite only event.

It will not be ready for production until December and will probably not start appearing in handsets until June 2010.

I must say that nokia starts to realize the importance of the design of their high end devices, n97 and e55 are better-looking devices among their other devices

idou and omnia hd look good and i like them but there is somthing about nokia, a name you can trust. idont know maybe idou be anothe buggy phone like x1 or maybe omnia hd be like original omnia so i cant trust them before release and taking the tests so its not enough to fall in love just becouse of what they say about the phones but lots of years i am using nokia and ...

> In reply to G900 user @ 2009-02-20 13:36 from 3LYb - click to readSimply because its Nokia. It has a querty keyboard, quad core cpu, more mature s60 flatform, its LCD not AMOLED, it has a 5MP carl ziess not the 8MP samsung optics that takes hideous pictures, remember the original omnia?, tons and tones of nokia specific softwares, ovi store, cheaper than HD and Idou, to be release by june and not next year, Samsung has durability issue and SE has credibility issue.

Who is going to pay to have these applications when they are readily available from other sources.

Nokia Ovi Store announced recently, my N97 killer applications:

1.Talkanaut(No more beta), official Skype(Coming soon) and Fring(beta), MSN live Messenger
2.Skyfire, Opera mobile/mini and Firefox
3.Joikuspot(Lite)
4Garmin Mobile

Most of them are not available in Apple App Store, do not pass the Apple App Store restriction, are never developed for iPhones OS platform.

Symbian rocks in this way!

They both cost more than the iPhone 3G.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-02-20 04:31 from Ui$d - click to readI thought the big thing about Symbian was it's "openness".

Can I use any VOIP provider I want with Skype?

No, it's a closed standard and only supports Skype, you have to pay Skype to call phone's.

Fring supports many protocols including Skype and is available in the App store.

Adobe Flash is another closed proprietry standard, you have to use Adobe players either Flash on a PC or Flash-Lite on a mobile.

Why is Nokia supporting closed standards?

Apple doesn't, they want open standards.
