Nokia N97 finally gets N-gage support, 5800 XM still not there

This weekend Nokia N97 was finally listed among the compatible N-gage devices bringing a bunch of high-quality games to the large touchscreen display of Nokia flagship. Unfortunately, Nokia 5800 XM is still not among the supported devices probably due to the lack of a hardware keyboard.

We guess that now that N-gage games are compatible with the latest edition of Symbia S60, support for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and its younger sibling Nokia 5530 XpressMusic should be right behind the corner (unless Marketing decides otherwise, of course).

Nokia N97 is supported by the latest version 1.20 (1511) of the N-gage application, so be sure to check the latest available version when downloading.

For all the other devices that already have the application pre-installed, check for the newer version directly from the application interface. You should know however, that there are no other significant changes.
