Well what do I say about this phone. Don't know where to start and where to end.
I'd bought this phone when I started working for a callcenter. Inspite of having a Nokia 7610. The reason I bought an N-Gage Classic, it's because I knew the worth of it and the feature packed phone at an affordable price!!!

Just like many of you have mentioned in your comments. This phone has an excellent, mind blowing, super Hi-Fi Stereo Sound. If you connect the Audio Cable and plug in a 3.5 mm Jack Headphone, you would know what I'm talking about. I have a Nokia N73 Music Edition. But oh baby, N-Gage leaves it way behind with it's crystal clearity sound and High but Low Noise Volume.

Another feature that I like the most is that you can record any songs that are playing on the FM Radio or from the CD Player or any other media. Now come on, how many of the Nokia phones have this feature!

Graphics way better than the QD. As the frame rate is too good, with less or no lag at all.

Lastly, I'd like non N-Gage Classic users know that this phone is Rock Solid. I'm not kidding about this mate. I have dropped this phone number of times but not a scratch on the panel and all the key's work perfectly fine!!!

I'd just like to conclude saying that this is definetly the best phone every to be made by Nokia in my perspective & I'm a proud owner of the Nokia N-Gage Classic.

Cheers!!!

> In reply to Anger @ 2009-03-29 17:45 from ibjCI do have one, and faced that problem once, and just turned off the Phone and set on charging, if your battery is not dead or weak enough this will be OK after having a sufficient charging back.
Else change the battery and try it.
i had faced an other problem with my N-gage,this problem is apparently not similar to this post/question but i am listing here in case if someone else can get help out of it.
My phone was stuck in the Blue tooth's ON mode, i was not able to get it back offline after many different attempts and even i had turned off the mobile power and had disconnected the battery twice, when ever i powered on the set this was on same status, then suddenly one trick came into my mind , and i applied it. i just removed the battery with my alternate 2nd battery, that then i switched the blue tooth off , and it worked.
Hope this will help you guys.

if your battery are weak use nlights software, this will turn off your ngage keypad light and also reduce the brightness of your ngage this two are the factors for consuming more battery to your ngage

gaming experience on ngage is better compared to n-series game, coz those n-phones cant handle effect on such big screen resolution, resulting a bit of "java" game feeling(unlike the PSP lol)...

This phone was the best nokia at that time. I could use mp3 as ringtone while the other phone couldn't.
The gaming experience is still the best at this time. Nokia N-Series couldn't defeat this phone at all in gaming experience.

the first nokia phone who has a "Stereo" mp3 player. far superior than n-gage QD. why nokia even bothered making that one.

this version still rocks and the sound is still far better than most recent nokia phones, like N70 music edition which sounds crap. it shouldn't even be called music edition. this n-gage will trash the sound of that garbage. i have them both, and n-gage is far superior than most nokia phones that came after n-gage. if you want a hip and cool looking phone with stereo bass and treble boost, this is the one. too bad it was phased out. only second hand ones are available now. it's N70 music edition should be the one that must be phased out. that phone's crap and with mono sound. i'll trash it along with n-gage QD.

this one is awesome. hands down to the n-gage classic

Its obviously dominantly for the right handed but, that's just a little issue to worry about. At first, I had trouble with the directional pad above the three other buttons, Music, Radio and Menu.

Audio is good with its loud speaker. Composing messages is also convenient, more so with the dictionary.

Gaming experience is also easy. Didn't get the hang of it at first but, it went well later on. The game titles are rather limited. Since the design is for gaming, Java games are better played compared other phones.

Looks awkward when you use it to talk yet, you can use the head set for that.

Battery life just happens to be shorter when you use its other features than just using it as a phone. It's battery life should be longer since the phone is designed for gaming.

Best phone for gaming. Shape as a console such as psp or nds. New generation n-gage devices(n81-n95 etc.) are not comfort for playing.
