Now AT&T is updating its Galaxy Tab S2 to Android Nougat
T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint have all issued the update to Android 7.0 Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 from 2016. So today it's time for AT&T to do the same and complete the circle: four out of four 'Big Four' carriers have the new software available at this point.
That's not to say that it isn't a late rollout - after all, Nougat first came out in August of last year. But at least one thing is clear now: if you own a Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 purchased from one of the leading US carriers, that software version is definitely on its way to you.
The AT&T update arrives over-the-air as a 1.1GB download. After applying it you'll have the May 1, 2017 security patch level, which is unfortunately one month behind right now. As usual in these cases, we expect it to be a staged rollout, so don't panic if your AT&T Tab S2 hasn't showed you the update notification yet - it should do that in the next few days.

Garbage tab. Worse in everything important than its predecessor. One of the many boneheaded moves of Samsung (releasing a clearly worse successor, like Note 5 was to Note 4 and S8 to S7E exynos)
