can anyone tell me about he LED, does it displays, callers number on the front side?
Battery life is very impressive, about 3-4 days with medium usage (35-50mins talk time, occasional texting + camera usage). I'm hardly in my house and it's not run out for me yet!
Hi all. Can anyone tell about the battery life. I am thinking of getting a Cocoon & I need good battery life.
I have just started using the cocoon and it has a very solid feel about it, the LCD screen looks brilliant, the menu is well laid out and very easy to use and the keypad is brilliant as I have big fingers. I love the charging nest, overall very impressed
i got the fone 2day and when i receive a message it does not come up anywhere. the ony way of knowing if i have a message is if i go 2 my inbox. help please?
I`ve bought o2 cocoon two days ago and so far no problems with that at all, very easy to use, good quality of sound and nice big buttons. do not know about the battery life yet as I have charged it fully yesterday. the LCD screen is awesome :)! Also the 2GB memory is enough to keep loads of music on the phone without buying the memory card.
Just a couple of questions:
1. when the profiles: vibrate only or silent are on how to make the alarm clock sound on? as it seems like when the vibrate only mode is on,the alarm clock is vibrating only and you cannot increase its sound (do not like it - sometimes I do not want to hear the incoming calls, but I still want to hear the alarm clock in the morning :)
2. The camera is OK for me as I`m more `music` person, but when I have photos in the pictures folder and I want to view them they do not appear on the full screen, there is only like miniature of the picture and in any way I cannot make them bigger??
thats two main things that I have problems with, if anyone knows the answers, please help :).
Also, I think there is no possibility of changing the theme of the phone and the menu pictures will stay in greyish.
I would appreciate the help of the other users of the coccon :)
its the greatest phone & one of the best design's iv'e seen so far in the wireless era. real posh design its like a N901 with a awersome look it's my TAJ MAHAL IN MOBILES GREAT JOB U GUYS it will be 100% my phone when its arrive's in my country.
i own this phone and to be honest it's really good?
2GB internam memory, Led lights on front display, 2MP camera, etc.
it's got all the qualities of a great phone, and when you actually use it you will find its nice and easy to use with no glitchy software or confusing operating systems.
the phone was released on the 1st of august and i have heard that sales are going well on the handset, whats even more impresive is the people that work for o2 are singing praises about this product and actually going out to buy the handset? surely if it was bad they wouldn't even touch it?
to sync with the pc you need to plug the USB directly in the handset NOT THROUGH THE NEST IT WILL NOT WORK. once connected open the handset and a menu should appear asking what you would like to sync to.
simply choose the option and the Cocoon should be then recognised and connect.
hope this helps.
i work for o2 and have just been given a Cocoon to pilot/review and test.
i have an XDA orbit so i was a little unsure how i was going to feel about changing to this handset but i've been blown away.
it's an extremely well thought out handset with every feature you could ask for.
i'm finding that the more i use it the more i'm growing to love it.
ok i admit the camera isn't the best on the market but if you've that bothered about it just buy a camera! but this handset ticks all the other boxes confidentaly and stylishly!
i'm becoming torn between the Orbit and Cocoon - what a dilema!!
great phone all that i need but i can not sync phone to pc any help i would be grateful thanx
the 02 cocoon is class it really great nd i have seen a working 1 nd the people who says its rubbish has got it all wrong i think it was a great idea wat they did withe led lights nice touch nd its easy to use too!!!!!!
anyone who slates this handset obviously hasnt seen it as it was only launched 5days ago!!!! - anything before this date there all liars!!! anyone who works for o2 will know how good this handset was before it was launched - i work for o2 and i have one now - won in a competetion from work - quality phone - quality mp3 player and good camera!!! dont listen to those comments anty earlier than 5days ago they must work for the competitionor something and are just JEALOUS!!!!
How does it look like when you receive a sms, do you see the led buring with an envelop?
Can anyone tell me roughly how many SMS texts the phone stores? Also can you opt out of the low battery bleep feature? I have a motorola at the moment which has an incredibly load bleep when the battery is low so you have no choice but to turn your phone off - or suffer the wrath of you work collegues! I've always had nokias previously and this battery notification is an optional feature and can be turned off.
hey all...i work for o2 and was given the chance to play with the cocoon yesturday, its good but not my cup of tea!!!
if your after a phone to be used as a camera then this aint for you but if its a music phone ya want then you cant go wrong!!
the outer design is excellent but the inside looks a little simplistic!!!
a good phone all in all though!!
